Super cool location, close to the Mercedes arena, yet tranquil . Breakfast was fantastic and Sabine is a super host. I will come again

    Nothing really.

Shared bathroom (it wasn't clearly indicated in the offer), limited availability of hot water, very inconvenient access to the site if you don't have a car (and very far away from public transport).

A very special stay, you sleep inside a tale of pirates and sailors. Sabine is a charming person. very grateful to have found this site.

The accommodation is great. The host was very welcoming and was on hand for any questions. She made us feel right at home. We were there to attend the football at the neighbouring football stadium, which is a short 20 minute walk away.

Nice relaxed, casual and honest atmosphere. It was a novelty to stay on a boat, sleeping in a cabin bunk. The owner and host Sabine was very nice and helpful with local knowledge and accomodating with our dietary needs. The breakfast was ample and tasty.

Toilet and shower facilities were basic, to be expected on a boat. The towel provided was a bit small.

This is a place that does not desrve to be in your portfolio. It was so difficult to reach. There was nobody to receive the guest: we had instruction over the phone how to enter. The rooms were dirty . I DID NOT STAY. and left the place. I want to be reimbursed .. Never recommend this to anybody.

It is a barge. It is not meant to be 5 star accommodation but it was a wonderful experience to have. The hostess is charming and the boat is clean. The showers were hot. It is very close to the Mercedes Museum which is well worth the visit. You can buy a beer on board at very reasonable prices. I lreally enjoyed the experience.

It can be a bit of walking time get there via public transport. It is also not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are steep gangways (it is a boat after all).

Great breakfast, wonderful host. great views.

within the expectation of knowing we were getting a boat, this was more than adequate. So the "comfort" is more about different expectations - as far as boats went, it was great.

The property was absolutely charming. If it’s rainy, it can be a little bit muddy and the approach… This is an old harbor, after all. The boat is comfortable. The beds are comfortable, and the hostess makes the whole stay even more pleasant.

I loved it all - if you are expecting a five star hotel, this isn’t your place. If you’re expecting a comfortable unique lodging experience on a hotel boat, you will love it even more than you expect!

Very nice and helpful host. Good availability of hot and cold beverages in open area.

Ambiguous and misleading offer description. Terrace, shower, river view are NOT room, but shared features. IT is a hostel in one star hotel price!

Friendly staff who were happy to help and a good price to live in the middle of the city. The room had everything I needed and it was kinda cool to be able to look directly onto the river from my top bunk. The owners dog was nice too. You could buy drinks cold on the boat for reasonable prices which saved me a trip to the supermarket on a thirsty night.

It was slightly cramped inside but it's a boat so comes with the territory I guess. Lighting on the cycleway to the boat isn't great either apart from the headlights of the passing cars on the motorway so if you're planning on staying out late just be aware of that. Overall though these are all minor nitpicks, I had a good time here.

It seemed like the boat was pretty well taken care of and nice. It would have been nice to stay there if the owner was honest that it's not accessible by car, and had a reasonable parking outside of the boat and legal transport to the boat set up.

In order to get to it with a car, the owner had me and my family drive down a bike path/sidewalk for a while to get to it. She didn't tell us what was happening from the start, just met us on the street and had us follow her into it. It made us really uncomfortable because we needed to leave to meet family once we were there and drive back at night. I have a very hard time believing that the rule-abiding and safety first Stuttgart municipality would okay a rental that has tourists drive down bike paths and dodging people on bikes. We literally had to stop and move out of the way of a few people on bicycles while getting to it. We thought it was illegal so we decided to go somewhere else. The owner has said it's against their policy to issue a refund and has refused it so far. I gave her a chance to do so without us causing issues for her, but we had to book last minute hotel rooms because of it. I'm not sure I should either - someone who is less careful of a driver or less knowledgeable about what's happening could hit someone. I am thus writing this review so others will know not to drive there and will consider further reports to the authorities.
