The single rooms are in a separate building (the hotel has a few different building that are either connected by a corridor or through the inner courtyard), which is absolutely okay but they are extremely dark interiorwise and there are not enough light sources in the rooms. So if you plan to do some reading/research on a physical media, you can basically forget it. Also no minifridge.

A really nice location right next to the Alster, so you’re directly on the water and can go enjoy your morning coffee or jog right by the water. Close to the city centre but you have to walk through a few not-so-nice locations to get there during the night if there is no transportation. The hotel itself is in a nice area, though. Also very clean and the staff are very friendly.

The room looked out across the Alster, and was quiet and roomy. Within easy walking distance of transport and the station. The breakfasts were phenomenal, and really set us up for the day.

No air conditioning... window opened but had no screen and we ended up with bugs coming into our room. Hotel is not handicap accessible. Restaurant and bar are closed. No ice available

The location was great... right in the St. George district... lots of restaurants Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were a good size larger than most.

There was no minibar in the room and the one that the staff provided did not work. Car parking in the garage was extra charge and there were not enough places. We booked a room with a bath tub butnonly had a shower.

Extra payments, staff seemed stressed, and very noisy place. Walls and ceilings are very thin. Our room was over the delivery tunnel and every morning at 05.30 the truck or trolley noise woke us up.

The staff were very helpful with our bikes. We put them in a meeting room which was not being used and was very secure. Also I left some keys behind which they kindly posted back to me in the UK.

- additional city tax not included in the initial booking price (it came as a surprise to me) - no aircon in the rooms - and when I opened the window, it was too noisy and disturbing (my window was out to the inner yard with the car park but also the chairs and tables for guests relaxing) - really uncomfortable pillow - narrow shower cabin - it is as it is, but wider / bigger people may find it tight to fit in

- very good location, close to the street with lots of cafes and restaurants, close to the lake, cca 2km walk to the strick city centre - own parking lot - also a small underground park for cars < 1,8 high (cost 12€ per night) - cosy room - small but I found it sufficient for my needs and it felt really private - comfortable and wide bed (although single) - separate entrance from the back side of hotel

The shower was a bit uncomfortable as it's very tiny space. It was still ok but the shower holder was kind of broken. I reported it before leaving and they took note of it.

The desk: I needed to work one of the days. The desk was convenient and WiFi was pretty good. Curtains: it has external ones (electronically controlled) and good black out ones. You can sleep in darkness.

Breakfast was 20€ per person which was fine but discovered after arriving back home and looking at the bill that we had to pay extra for the breakfast beverages. Next time I‘ll ask beforehand if drinks are included.

Very good location directly across the Alster, not far from the main station. Room was comfy, water pressure in the shower was great. Breakfast buffet was good
