Reviews of my Hostel Füssen

The office for this hostel closes at 18:00. I arrived at 20:00 to an empty office with a locked door. The office has a phone number to call for after hours check in, however, as an international traveler using an esim, I was unable to call the number, and unable to check in. The office door did have after hours check in instructions for a list of travelers, but my name was not on the list. I'm not ordinarily one to leave reviews, but this was a very bad experience. I had arrived by bicycle and came very close to either having to sleep in the lobby or outside. I was fortunately able to book the last available bed in a nearby hostel, but otherwise the other last minute options were either prohibitively expensive or far away. I have also not been able to receive a refund.

Location, check-in was very simple, bed was comfy, and thank you so much for the kettle and tea.

There was some weird smell, and the hostel room, hallway and bathroom were not very clean. Neigbors were banging doors like there was no tomorrow, but it's not the hostel's fault. And there was no kitchen.

Large room, location.

Check-out time at 0900 hrs (check in at 1500hrs). I don't get it. Seems very unfair to me since I couldn't sleep well because I needed to wake up so early to set myself up for leaving. At least they could have staff for luggage storage. In addition, the electrical outlets were few and 2 of them far from tables or beds. The other one was used by the lamp.

The room was comfortable, good location

Because you share the bathroom, it is a little noisy with people going back and forth!

Nice location. 5 minutes walk from altstadt.

1 toilet per 20 people. We had to wait very long to get to the washroom. On the top Check Out is little early (9:00 AM), which made it more stressful. The floor in the room were squeaky. It was not possible to walk, without creating noise, especially at night and waking everybody up. Traffic noise from street at night as well.

Clean, kettle provided, spacious room, good location with a little car parking.

No en suite toilet/shower but we knew this in advance and it was not a problem

Like a student hostel and its WiFi was not working

The beds were clean, the floor NOT at all we found things under the bed, crumbs etc on the floor) It was walking distance to the old town

Our room was right up against the road, which was noisy. We closed the window for the noise, but then the room was really stuffy (it wasn’t even a hot night). You could hear when anyone else in the hostel came in, went to the bathroom, or walked around. The beds were creaky so when anyone moved we all woke up. The bathroom had no toilet paper, so we had to get our own. We didn’t see anyone at reception, the place smelt like smoke, the parking was pretty much non-existent.

Weeds growing outside - poor first impression. No person in office for check-in. Room not clean - hairs on bedsheet, floor dirty. Room felt cold and damp. Key did not work properly in door. No light-bulb in bedside light.

They offer free parking in front of the entrance. However its first come first serve. Location is good.

There is only 1 toilet + bath for 3 rooms together and its always busy. No shower gel or handwash provided. The toilets stink. No person were there in person during the check in. The rooms did not have enough charging points. No fan is provided during summers. Very pricey for the facilities offered. Not a good value for money

Easy check-in and great location to the train station.

both shower heads were broken on either side in the shared facilities, and had to be held the entire time, or just left to dangle.

The location.

Our room was facing the street and it was very loud because of cars passing by, the whole night. The room was too warm, although the rest of the building was much cooler. Not enough toilets and showers.

Its clean.

There’s no one in the reception to receive you, the number provided to call DOESNT WORK, it says to be a Hostel but there’s no kitchen, neither I saw any breakfast fast, Wifi DIDNT WORK!
