We had a 2 bed apartment which was beautifully presented, spacious and comfortable. Book the restaurant as there are no other restaurants nearby.

There is no air conditioning and if your room is in the attic it gets quite hot. However, there is a fan that, for me, did not work (It was faulty, it wouldn't start!).

Large apartment, large bathroom, tastefully decorated rooms. Also the hotel staff is nice. The breakfast was ok. The location is interesting especially if you are a nature lover.

The church bells ringing from 6 in the morning during a fiew minutes and than every 15 minutes untill 10pm.

The property is very clean and extremely charming. We arrived on a day where the restaurant was not open, which was a shame because it’s a very popular spot in town. Our room was huge and of course, all the little details that make these types of properties special are here. The breakfast was legendary with all the standard items and local products included. We really enjoyed our stay thank you.

Unfortunately the walls are very thin and I had one night with very little sleep as on one side of me someone was coughing during the night and on the other side they played the tv loudly till very late and then again from early in the morning.

Lovely staff, comfortable bed, and delicious food. Breakfast was well worth the extra cost with delicious home made jam, yogurt, and scrambled eggs all on offer.

We got a small studio, with kitchenette. Whole building extraordinary clean, very nice staff and possiblity of having breakfast lunch and dinner. Restaurants serves typical local meals and they are happy to advise you. Around is vineyards, forest and many viewpoint. It's just 20 minutes by car to BadenBaden.

Very clean and accurate to the description/pictures. The breakfast was simple but super good. Great shower and comfortable beds! A quiet place to rest and there's a restaurant in the hotel, we didn't have the time to try but it's seems to be good.

Bring ear plugs as the church bell rings quite a bit at 6am and then every 15 mins it rings until the last bell at 10pm. Closing windows on that side of the flat and using earplugs made it fine.

Amazing spacious and airy apartment, very clean with everything you need. Beds very comfy. Free Wi-Fi that works well. 2 hobs, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, frying pan and pots. Fridge and freezer. Comfy sofa with large tv. Tv is set up for windows wireless display. Little shop 2 minutes walk away. Gasthaus food was delicious! A short drive away there are other restaurants. Breakfast is 8.5 euros which was good value, you can order this the day before. Either walking or driving from the property you can see many amazing parts of the Black Forest: walks, castles, waterfalls, bob bahn, lakes to swim, europa park etc This would be a great apartment for families with children as there is a separate room with a bunk bed and space for children to play.

Reception was not what I had expected. And I had hoped to have my evening meal at the hotel since they have a restaurant, but the restaurant was closed and no evening meal was available on Tuesday evening. Very bad weather did not help my initial impression.

Nothing that the owner could change! The apartment is right next to the restaurant, so early morning deliveries and trash removal was loud, as are the church bells, but these are not things the owner can change, so this isn't a complaint but just a heads-up for future renters! If you're a very early riser, you won't even notice.

Everything in the apartment was perfect - very clean and comfortable. We also had everything we needed to make a small meal in the kitchen and a wonderful view from our balcony! We were greeted warmly and the owner made sure that we were all set. She even moved her car so that we could have an open parking space for unpacking, etc. in the small parking lot between the restaurant and the apartment. I'm just sorry that we didn't have time to have dinner at the restaurant! The food must be very good because the place was very busy both nights.

Wifi very poor. Almost no WiFi signal in the apartment we had and WiFi not secure. Noise was a minor issue in the evening but quiet overnight until 6am when there was some street noise. Towels not very large but otherwise apartment is well equipped and good customer service.

Lovely gasthof in a lovely village at the edge of the black forest and next to Buhl and close to Baden-Baden. The apartment was great and comfy. Furniture is almost new. Reasonably well equipped apartment. Check-in and checkout very straightforward
