The breakfast was not at all special and not very often replaced. It felt a bit too much over priced for what it offered, but I guess we were there during high-summer season.

The staff was lovely. Bed was confortable.

The room was a little small and only accessible by stairs which meant carrying our luggage up. Although nice, the room was basic and there were no extra facilities so imo didn’t really warrant the price charged.

The staff here are very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was clean and quaintly decorated. The breakfast was extensive with a wide selection of food.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the size of the room was a pleasant surprise. The quality of the food for breakfast and for the evening meals was extremely good with a traditional menu with a couple of middle eastern selections to try , I did and really enjoyed my sesame and chilli chicken , a big thumbs up to the cooks !

I was having trouble with the internet for my work use, but it works fine with everything else.

We come here every year for a few days, because it is a family run small hotel that you can feel at home in. Even got recognized after being away for a year... It is not a luxury hotel, but comfy and very clean. It's the people that make the place! And breakfast or dinner in the hand-painted Bavarian style guest room is always a delight. The beer garden is a lovely place to be on a warm day.

Comfortable hotel in a good location with a spacious parking lot. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent and offered good choices. We also had very nice dinners in the cozy Bavarian restaurant.

WIFI is spotty and hasn't worked for my work situation, but o.k. for just personal use. But that may not be the hotel's fault, but the overall less than optimal internet situation in more rural areas in Germany.

Home away from home! Very friendly owners and staff, that make you feel at home and recognize you by name year after year! Can't wait to be back!

The people at reception desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and equipped with a fan for the hot weather. The breakfast in the morning in the cozy dining room was top notch. We loved this place so much, we came back after a stay in 2012. Highly recommend.

Overpriced, poor ventilated hot room - mediocre breakfast. Staff / system is unable to properly handle booking.com reservations: 1) apparently no room reserved in the beginning and 2) breakfast was charged extra, even though it was included in the booking.com reservation.

The owner's attitude and tone was totally unprofesional and disappointing. We had to change our plans and instead of being there 2 nights, we stayed only one night. After the breakfast I went to check-out and the lady on the counter told me I have to pay for 2 nights. I totally disagreed and wanted to pay just for one night since I never had this issue in any hotel or country (and we travel a lot). For example, in Belgium we shortened our stay there due to the bad weather, no issue with hotel. In Croatia due to emergency we had to leave earlier, no issues there. Lady on the counter said because we booked 2 nights via booking that they have to charge me for 2 nights. When checking cancellation policies, booking clearly stated that all changes of dates, earlier check-in/out are up to property policies itself. I immediately called booking customer service for help. Booking employee (very profesional and helpful) said that from booking side there are no issues and all was clear and then she put me on hold while in the same time calling the hotel. Lady on the counter answered and said she can not do anything until her boss (owner) comes. Finally he came after some time and first we talked with him. He kept saying that he is the boss here and it will be like he says. That tone was so unprofesional and rude that I never want to come back to this hotel. He clearly favours profit over guests and guests needs. Then he spoke with booking customer service. He was arguing with booking and only after 5-10min he only offered 50% discount on 2nd night (which we did not use). If he only explained his points with better tone and with kindness and immediately offered this 2nd night 50 % discount I would have never written this longest bad review in my life so far. Needless to say that after that event we were so stressed and nervous and had to drive 250km home with kids.
