Lovely hotel, thankfully the staff’s English was better than my German.

Not enough staff and the hotel reception closed sometimes so had to go to restaurant to ask for assistance. Not a big deal but the two receptionists we spoke to spoke very little English so struggle to explain we had been locked out of our room as key card stopped working. They also lock doors at 10pm so we had to get a guest to let us in as a receptionist just appeared to ignore our wave to get her attention.

Accessible only by car, train station is pretty far away. The only taxi in town is available by a phone call, a great guy comes by and will take you anywhere.

Excellent staff, great breakfast, wonderful spa facilities and beautiful nature. Clearly a breath of fresh air - a spa for your body and mind.

Breakfast was a little pricey to add on my husband (45 euros per day) since the room was originally booked for just me. The internet service was slow and spotty which is surprising for this day and age. It's fine for checking email but if you need to transfer documents, images, or videos to collegues it takes forever. Never mind trying to stream your favorite shows.

The staff was all extremely friendly. Emily being the standout because she spoke very good english and helped us when there was any miscommunication with other staff. The breakfast was excellent with a full spread of eggs, meats, veggies, pastries, cereal, bread, etc.

Friendely people at reception. Even for a late arrival, they took the time in the restaurant to prepare a healthy meal. Super service. Room was spaceous with extra balcony. Bathroom well organised with plenty light (necessary for business travellers).

I arrived at 23.30h in the evening and left the next day at 8am. They carged me +5€ for energy expenses... just went to the bathroom 1 time and 1 shower. I didn't even charged my phone. The rest was okay, good room and good breakfast. Kind receptionists.

Amazing staff service!!! We booked to celebrate my mums birthday and it was an amazing experience! Flowers and cake were arranged as requested, and additional decorations was prepared plus a breakfast table was reserved for us. Overall an amazing stay! Thank you!

The receptionist on our arrival was very abrupt and almost dismissive of us, when we asked where the pool was she just pointed. We reserved a table in the restaurant but when we arrived the girl hadn’t written it down. When she eventually allocated us a table we hadn’t received a menu or asked if we’d like a drink for over 30mins. There were only 3 members of staff on who were doing their best but couldn’t cope. Lots of people were complaining . Eventually we decided to google a restaurant nearby, and had a lovely meal in the local town. Nothing against the restaurant front of house, they never stopped but needed more support.

We liked the location, the room was comfortable although had no aircon and it was July. The pool and spa facilities were really good

It has no wifi. The wifi is very slow and the connection is cut off every 5 minutes.

I had a very unpleasant and inhumane experience at Allgäu report. I booked a room arrived at the hotel in December 2024 when I realized I am not allowed to take my pet to the room. I realized that the hotel had messaged me before on that and I had not seen. The hotel did not agree to fully refund the payment for a room I had paid and I could not use, not even providing a voucher to use the services later. They were absolutely unresponsive to my request and treated a client unfairly. They had lots of free rooms on that day, so they were not losing money because of my reservation. Before sharing this comment, I tried reaching out to the hotel management to once again explain my situation before posting this comment, but did not get any response back.
