The change of a shower head is long overdue (photos), also the shower overall was not looking so great (soap dispenser). Also in my case (room No. 9) there wasn’t any view of anything as the windows were either blurred or didn’t lead anywhere, which did steal some of the sunlight, but if you are using the room only to sleep in and spend your day elsewhere, this shouldn’t be an issue.

Great check-in experience, even when arriving late (via Alfred check-in service). You enter all the doors via a unique code, that is given to you online after check-in. You are situated pretty much directly in the city centre, so everything is a “few steps away”. The room was sufficient for one person, clean and the bed comfortable.

Excellent location, right in the city center / old town. No problem with parking (hotel is booking a parking place for You). A lot of restaurants round the place and very nice base for sightseeing

Triple room provided 3 beds, 1 on room level and 2 off in the attic via steep ladder and narrow sloped roof for anyone over 5'5". Attic mattresses I had to put both (2) on top of eachother for a comfortable sleep. Cot was additional charge which we weren't aware of/missed in the booking. Breakfast was limited, and the shower was really tiny ! Note, off-site parking is on the town square 300m away but bays outside property to unload/load.

Very friendly staff, great location, spacious rooms, beautiful old building. Water cooler and free tea/coffee/hot chocolate offered. Fans provided in the rooms to help cool down. Pictures don't do property justice, it's a beautiful old building !

Our room was on attic, there were no air condition, the temperature was over 30 C degrees. It was no possible to sleep.

Everything was very pleasant: nice interior, quiet and clean hotel in the center of the city. The room is small in size. But for me it was a plus: it was cozy, the windows of our room faced the courtyard, so it was quiet. Everything suited me. And thank you very much to the friendly staff.

1. There is no manned reception as the hotel is managed from the nearby Boromeum Residence. 2. Breakfast is in the ancient cellars; this involves difficult stairs and many changes of level and trip hazards once down there. 3. After booking, I was assailed many times by a 'bot' called 'Alfred' which offered to provide online check-in - this seems to be in use in many hotels. It would be useful if one could decline this. I ignored this bot and checked in conventionally.

The location in the old centre of HK is excellent. The hotel is in a quiet street. The rooms was very clean and comfortable. All the staff are helpful. Some of the staff speak English. Breakfast was a good buffet. In the (unmanned) reception area there are facilities for making hot drinks, a microwave, crockery, and also a printer for the use of guests. There is a clever electronic key fob which works for both room and the main hotel entrance door. There are laundry facilities etc available at the neighbouring Boromeum Residence (apartments) from which the hotel is managed.

The rooms are of adequate but modest size, the bathroom could use some updating.

Breakfast was reasonably good, there was a selection of fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, hot scrambled eggs. Breakfast was served in the vaulted cellar rooms which we found to be damp, cool and gloomy. There is some parking available in front of the building - reservation necessary. Additional towels available in common area.

The mattresses were rock hard and I had to use a second from the twin bed. The curtains don't cover the windows so the summer light streams in. The shower needs updating. The beds are only made up every two days, with fresh towels, but no attempt to clean the rest of the room or bathroom during my 5 night stay. This is an impersonal hotel. There is noone to check you in (even though there was supposed to be a receptionist who was never there). There was no WiFi code in the room (just put it on laminated A4 paper) so had to message the manager.

Location is good in the centre of the old town. I also liked the keypad entry system which meant one less key or card to carry. Breakfast in the dungeon was reasonable although it might contain the slowest coffee machine in history.

Perfect location, very cozy hotel. The staff is really kind, the rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast is extremely excellent. It was my second stay here, and I would choose this hotel again. :)

You could see clearly that they don’t do deep cleaning just superficial, the tiles in the toilet/bathroom were very unclean

Receptionists were amazingly kind and professional. Cleaner mainted my rooms during my stay on high standards. Excellent service provided from all staff. I will highly recommend this exclusive place to my colleagues either to business partners. Looking forward for next stay.
