It’s near the centre of town and a good variety of restaurants.

The shower head holder is at waist height instead of head height. The kitchen wasn’t available.

Very nice room and good information before arrival.

Not much to pick at. The only problem for us was the steep climb to room "Ester" (my wife fractured a bone in her foot a while ago, but this is not the fault of the pension :-)).

Fantastic location in the city centre, convenient check-in and check-out, fantastic tip for the breakfast (totally recommend to go for it - cafe Vsehochut), well appreciated info about parking possibilitiesvery big size of the room and large bathroom. It's a very simple interior design of the room, without TV but for that price it is totally worth it! Really nice design of the building itself though, it's historical tenement.

Historical photos I guess from inside the building, with some people (perhaps old tenants?) in connection with the fact that it's an old building, were giving me a bit of goose bumps. ;-) If someone watched too many horror movies and is afraid of ghosts or old buildings then I guess that hotel will not be the best choice. :'-)

It was quite intrigueing that the ground floor and the 1st floor was either (partially) occupied by historical exhibitions about the city's Jewish history, but the room itself was also absolutely fine: very spacious, well-equipped and comfortable.

This is such a gem in Jicin and we enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Our host, Ivana, was so nice and communicated with us prior to and during our stay. The check in process is done online and it’s very convenient. Ivana let us store our suitcases at the property after check out while we explored the Prachov rocks. It was such a nice gesture and we appreciated it. I highly recommend this Penzion in Jicin. Perfect base to explore Prachov rocks and the surrounding countryside.

Great location just a few steps from main square! The communication with owner and clear instruction for self-check in. Beautiful building, nicely renovated with balcony and terace. Lovely spot! Highly recommended.

The location is just around the center, it’s a very cozy place.The rooms are big and there’s even a refrigerator in your room. Very clean and very nice staff.

It would’ve been nice to have a fan or air-conditioning because it was very hot outside and also inside

A clean, beautiful, spacious, comfortable, simple room (loved the hardwood floors). The courtyard is a nice place to relax (and there's a kitchen you can use). The building has a lot of history and there are exhibits about Jewish Czech writers in several rooms. The gorgeous synagogue is across the street. The location is great, just around the corner for the lovely main square.

Anyone staying here -- and you should! -- will need to provide their own soap and shampoo. And the check-in is automated. But the staff is responsive to emails, if you're worried about there not being a traditional reception desk and staff on hand. So these are not really minuses, as long as you know what to expect.

The location is great, it’s exactly next to main square of the city. Furthermore the object is really clean and comfortable. Also you have more space in your room, the fridge, some cups and electric kettle. Really cool place to stay in Jičin :)

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the owner wanted me to send my passport number or ID number via sms/booking messenger. I respect the fact that it’s the data you need to finish the check in but on the other hand that’s sensitive personal data I don’t want to share this way. I also reserved some hotels in the past where I could check in by myself, without any reception etc and I can’t remember these objects asking me to send passport number/ID number via any messengers.

Very quiet, cean, comfortable and big apartment, perfect location!
