Our room was on the ground floor and faced the street so was a bit noisy with no outlook.

Martin is an outstanding host, and his service and hospitality make it easy to understand why this pension has one of the highest ratings in Mikulov. The accommodation is simple and cozy. Not luxurious, but homey and welcoming. The service, though, is what makes it shine. It is clear that the Jilek family *cares* about their guests as more than a business transaction and will go out of their way to ensure a fantastic stay. They own two other properties in Ceksy Krumlov and Telc, and I hope to stay at those in the future.

Professional and friendly that made our stay very comfortable. Great advice for the attractions, excellent breakfast. We stayed on the first floor. Large Room has Luxury amenities such as heated floor in the bathroom, great shower , very comfortable bed and many more. The location was great, the staff welcoming and the room was very comfortable. It was our second stay and we are glad we chose Penzion Baltazar again. Before Christmas the whole place was nicely decorated and the atmosphere was very nice. And same as last time, we've enjoyed the selection of breakfast cooked fresh. Thank you!

We loved the spacious accommodations. It was next door to the castle (and its park) in the heart of the old city. We had nice breakfasts in the restaurant settings. Parking was provided on the premises.

It was great to stay at the Penzion Baltazar. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the location was perfect to explore Mikulov, Lednice, and Valtice. We stayed here 2 nights during the storm Boris in Sep. The rain did not take away from the lovely Penzion. We borrowed their 2 umbrellas and walked the 5 minutes to the main area of town and the castle. We stayed on the top floor in a very large room with chair and couch and tub. Comfortable to spread out. We had cook to order eggs for breakfast. Everyone was very nice. Parking was in the rear of the property. Huge plus for us with a car

Large, peaceful room in a beautiful old house. In fact best we've stayed in for the whole 2 week trip! Right in the town centre with its castle , synagogue and some excellent restaurants. Extremely welcoming and helpful owner. Safe and convenient place to store bikes.

Staff, room, and location were great. Enjoyed the fresh-made hot breakfast. To top it off, got great local recommendations for food, wine, and things to do from the owner. Really appreciated the personal touch at this pension, which you don't always get at a hotel.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

I had a very spacious double room in this beautifully designed renovation of a historic house in the old Jewish Quarter of Mikulov. If you have any appreciation for interior design and architecture, you will love the look of this place. A lot of money was invested in top quality work, and it shows. Also, the beds and chairs were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring Mikulov. The house faces the castle, so there is a great view.

Marvelous place - everything was just perfect from super-friendly and helpful host Martin and other personnel, location (you are practically 'in' the castle in Mikulov), cozy outdoor area, spacious yet nice rooms and many, many others. Especially the host and staff is a great plus - they are open to any request, do not make any problems even in case of peculiar requests and always try to find a suitable solution for the guest. You can really feel taken care of. We had a great vacation and a huge part of that was due to this amazing place!
