Bathroom was new, room and beds were clean

At 7th floor, it was very hot. I had to keep the window open, but there was a loud bar in the street. You can hear everything in the hallway, and I was always hearing a barking dog.

Nice location. Big rooms with a nice separation and doors to close. Really nice staff and free parking in the front

The balcony was pretty dirty and a little gross. The toilet flushed upwards so you had to close the lit for it not to get on the floor

This is our second stay at Hotel Labe, and we are just as satisfied as we were the first time. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the modest breakfast is included—what more could you want for this price? :) And the staff is fantastic! Always friendly and helpful. We requested a specific room, and we got it. On Sunday, there were no eggs left when we arrived at the breakfast room (we were apparently the last ones to have breakfast that day, everyone else had already left!:)), so the staff fried an egg for each of us without us even having to ask! These small gestures really make a big difference. They genuinely care and put in the effort, and we truly appreciate that.

Just have in mind that if the weather is really hot, the room gets very hot too. Also the door of the room is not soundproof, but it's a common problem of 90% of hotels, so actually nothing unusual about it). Yes, the building is old and not particularly attractive (the rooms are renovated, though the windows are still old), but we always wonder what kind of people are complaining about this hotel. Didn't you see the pictures before booking? Did you expect it to be 5 stars "Hilton"? Come on, look at the price tag! For THIS price (and at the moment, in 2024, it was 55 eur for double room per night including breakfast) you must be a fool to expect some luxury. We are travelling A LOT and we can say with confidence - this hotel offers really fair price/quality ration for this region.

    Nothing

Unfriendly, unhelpful, miserable staff. Very below average breakfast. Limited, very awkward parking. Bathroom v poor, tiny sink. Located in a soviet style housing estate. Frequented by beer drinking, whisky bottle carrying clientele. Saturday night blasted by a rap music festival in the neighbourhood until the early hours. Basically .. don't stay here! 0/10

We were very pleased with our stay. Yes, it is far from being 5-star hotel:) BUT it was quiet (which was very important for my wife), very clean, comfortable beds, everything is in working condition and you can see that they are trying to refresh the rooms/bathroom. We got the room with balcony - and it was great! Breakfast is no thrills, but really fair deal. As long as it offers good value for money (we have paid 55 eur per night for 2 people with breakfast), we will gladly use this hotel again!

The doors of the rooms are really thin. As I mentioned the hotel was very quiet during our stay (and it suprised us, because it was weekend + some people from metal festival nearby were staying in the hotel!:)), but if you have some noisy neighbours you will be in trouble cause you can hear EVERYTHING from the hallway throw the door. Another thing is that it was VERY hot in the room. Actually it is not the hotel's fault (of course they don't have A/C - look at the price you are paying and stop blaming them!:)) and, by the way, they provide fan (which unfortunately doesn't help too much). So just have in mind that if you are staying here during the hot weather in summer, it will be hot in the room. The bathroom is renovated, but there is no additional ventilation inside and it becomes steamy very quickly.
