How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Shower too small, toilet was positioned sideways, which made it a bit uncomfortable as there wasn’t much space

We were on the top floor so the stairs were challenging! Completely understandable in an old building, but worth noting if you have mobility issues/can’t carry a heavy suitcase upstairs.
Comfortable, if dated room. The bed is two separate mattresses with separate sheets which meant there was occasionally a divot in the bed, but this didn’t particularly bother us. Despite the heat outside the room remained cool without air conditioning. We found the fan effective. The location is excellent, easy to get the tram & easy to get around town on foot. We enjoyed the included breakfast.

It was a bit warm ( no air conditioning in the room), it had a small fen but it made a lot of noise so we needed to shut it off. Other rooms had portable air conditions. But this is not making any difference because I would choose this hotel again.
Good combination of what you get for money. Clean room, hotel is in the middle of the centrum and you get breakfast too! I would recommend it!

Room fridge didnt work and in the shower was mold. Also we had room in the third floor it was so hot. No air conditioning.
The location was good. Breakfast good and the last morning we asked breakfast box to go because we had early morning flight and it was very good.

There was a horrific smell in the bathroom for the entire duration. Would even enter the room. The problem was that the plumbing was not properly isolated, so the smell came from the pipes in the walls. Other than this everything was fine, but the hotel desperately needs to handle this. It's really unbearable.
Very close to the center. Good breakfast. Big rooms.

Breakfast did not have a great variety and was not very flavourful, so ended up eating out for breakfast.
Close to what we wanted, clean and old fashioned feel.

Our room was at the 3rd floor and there is no elevator.
It is not far from the center and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also nice.

The rooms are not like in the photos. In one of our rooms was coming a bad smell from the toilet .

There is not lift, and also de during the breakfast could be more tables and chairs, because at 9:30 it was so full.
We enjoyed our time in the Hotel. Specially Martin the receptionist who was so attentive and very helpful. The hotel was very clean. Also very close to the centre, we didn't use tram.

Shower water went cold after about 10 minutes. No double bed, just two single mattresses. No lamp in rooms only big light.
Very clean, very nice breakfast, good service, spacious room. Great to be able to check in early and store luggage

The hair fohn was not working in my room, everything else was nice!
The location was excellent and easily accessible, with many stores, shops, and bakeries around. Breakfast was truly perfect, very diverse and tasty! The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Staff members were super friendly, and overall, it was a good value for money.

During winter there is no issues but during summer it will be very uncomfortable as there is no ac in the room
The location of the property is in a very convenient place between old town and new town. Public transportation is just right outside the property and also the breakfast was nice

No lift, but the character of the building certainly made up for that. No where for them to put them in either - they have tried! Breakfast was great except cold scrambled eggs were hard to eat!
Couldn't beat the location. Staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.Great value for money. Trams on doorstep! Loved this hotel!
