“The attitude of staff - especially the manager - was "everything is possible, nothing is a problem", very pleasant to stay. Given the resources and location (it's not a 5 star hotel and it's in the middle of nowhere), I would say that service rendered is great.
We stayed in a room and a tree house. The room was maybe basic, but functionally equipped and layed out. The three house was not too far away with access to bathroom and shower in the main building.
Breakfasts were amazing - everything tasted great, selection was plentiful. The main dining area and terrace are cosy and nicely designed.
There is even a charger for EVs.”
“Penzion Osika is a delight to stay, although the house is on a remote location. Outside of Nova Bystrice on the edge of the forest and the lake it is a perfect place for hikers and lovers of nature. The town is 5 minuten in the car and offers some restaurants and small shops. Within ten minutes you cross the border to Austria. The house - halve of a double - is excellent equipped. Two spacious bedrooms, a smaller living room and fine kitchen. We loved the bathroom, which was newly renovated compared to our stay a year earlier. Yes, we did come back for a second time, and hopefully that is not the last time. Recommended.”
