How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Nothing, everything was perfectly organised.
Everything was fabulous, very clean and the Location was perfect. It was close to many very good Restaurants and Shops. Public Transport was also at a walking distance. I would definitely come back. The Host was extremely friendly and helpful.

Everything was great
Everything was absolutely amazing, the host was wonderful and very helpful, the room is so comfortable that hotels pale in comparison, the rooms were kept too clean they were cleand every two days with fresh towels. The location couldn't be better. It's apsolutly the best accomodations in Ayia Napa.

We had a wonderful stay! Antonis is an amazing host - so welcoming and attentive, he truly made us feel at home and ensured we had everything we needed. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. The location couldn't be better, with everything within easy reach. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Loved the room as it was very spatious and the bed was so comfy. It is perfectly located near the main attractions of Aya Napa. The bus station is at a 3 minutes walk and around you have lots of restaurants. The host was very kind and welcoming and made our stay even better by giving us tips&tricks regarding Aya Napa.

Our stay at this accommodation was excellent. The owner, Antonis, was extremely kind and attentive, always available for any questions we had and ready to provide great recommendations for sightseeing and local food. At the end of our stay, he even surprised us with a small gift, which was a lovely gesture. The location is perfect – very close to the center, yet quiet and peaceful. The room was spotlessly clean, regularly maintained, with fresh linens and towels provided. All compliments to the host and the accommodation – we would gladly return.

Perfect location – close to everything you might need. The apartment was very clean, fully equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Antonis was a very nice host. He does his best to satisfy the needs of his guests. Our studio was regularly cleaned, air conditioned and well located. We had everything we needed and, for sure, we recommend the stay at Shalos Studios :)

A perfect stay in the heart of Ayia Napa! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location of Shalos Studios is absolutely fantastic – everything you need is just steps away: the harbor, a variety of great restaurants, shops, and even a museum. Despite being in the center, the studios are wonderfully soundproofed, so you can relax without any noise from the city. There is free parking available, which is a big plus. The studios are spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable vacation. The bed was very large and incredibly comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. A very friendly lady takes care of the cleaning – always cheerful and doing an excellent job. Most importantly, a huge thank you to Antonis, who is incredibly hospitable and kind. He regularly checked in on us, made us feel truly welcome, and even surprised us with lovely little gifts. You will genuinely feel at home here. There are also amazing beaches nearby – perfect for relaxing and swimming – and you’re only about 10 minutes by car from Cape Greco, where you’ll find stunning natural spots and breathtaking views. An absolute must-see! We are so thankful for this amazing stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Staying in Shalos Studios was the best option for us! The host is one great man, very kind, generous and friendly. He gave us all the instructions for Aja Napa, for the best restaurants, bakeries, the beaches on the island, and how to get to there. And he was there for all our questions. Our stay was excellent. The host welcomed us warmly and let us store our luggage while the room was being cleaned, as we arrived early. He gave us lots of helpful information about nearby beaches, good restaurants and bars, and which buses to take to explore the area. The room was clean and modern, and the location was perfect.

The apartment was in a perfect location in Ayia Napa. Very nice outdoor terrace with tinted windows for privacy. The kitchen also had all the amenities you could need. The property is very close to all of the main beaches, restaurants and clubs.
