Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CyprusThere was a lack of parking spaces. The food quality was poor. The bathroom had a leak because the shower glass wasn’t sealed properly, and water was getting out onto the floor.
Good location. Most of the staff were polite, but some were not.

BulgariaToo many people put a towel on the loungers near before breakfast and maybe turn up to use them a few hours later. That shouldn't be allowed.
The breakfast was excellent. One slight comment is that the hot dishes, bacon egg etc. should be HOT not just warm, but I'm English and we like our food hot :) Excellent choice and quality and staff keeping the buffet area clean. 5 minute walk to the beach, great! Nice room, very clean.

United KingdomNothing much to complain about. We only stayed for one night and it was pleasant. It doesn't have a sea view but that's why it is cheaper than other hotels in area. We would stay again
Location near seafront and restaurants is good. Room was clean and bee comfy. Receptionist and bar staff were helpful. Pretty pool area with a lifeguard. Good value for money Breakfast had a reasonable selection

United StatesThe property is old. The bathrooms need to be refurbished. The sink cabinet Formica was peeling in both our adjoining rooms. The housekeeper Christina was accommodating and helpful making sure our rooms were clean and gave us extra towels when needed. Eva, the woman who received us when we arrived was kind and helpful. The other women working at the desk were not friendly and didn’t make any effort to make us feel welcomed. The staff as a whole are not hospitable! The pool and pool area was great for family and kids. A large selection for breakfast but the same everyday. We happened to have rooms with balconies facing the sea. It was calming to be on this side of the hotel.

United KingdomHumidity in the rooms on arrival may have caused the towels to feel damp. Without the card entry key in the power slot just inside the entrance causes the electricity to turn off in the room. Perhsps leave one of the key cards in the slot if temporarily leaving the room. The flooring in the bathroom needs a more attractive surface. Refuse truck bin emptying on the adjacent property at breakfast time was not an attractive site and noisy, especially the bottle emptying into the truck container. Not the hotels fault.
I was nervous selecting and paying extra for room with a "Side sea-view" but was thankful, and that I did not have to lean out of the balcony to view the sea. From the 6th floor it was also overlooking the swimming pool. So, we were happy with the easy sliding glass doors to sit out on the balcony. Excellent underground free parking was ideal. Easy access just minutes away from the beach across traffic-light pedestrian crossings. Pool-side tables available for buffet breakfast.

IsraelUnfortunately there is a deterioration from last time! Room are old (but clean!), Fire ants (!!) returned (they were there the first time and disappeared the second time) made it very problematic to stay near the pool, no innovation in breakfast. Not the same.
This was our third stay in 2 years. Location is near the sea, pool is nice, restaurant and bar.

United KingdomReception staff cold and rude, arguing with other guests frequently. I felt they were unprofessional and unapproachable, rolling their eyes for asking for anything. Pool badly crowded at weekend as they allow locals to use. Room smaller than expected but comfortable. Building is very tired and poor condition, "health club" not operational and noone warned this on booking. The gym is atrocious, dirty and equipment falling apart. Even the refurbished rooms are tired and scuffed, there are cut corners on the quality of the things like the bathroom cabinets. I would stay again and recommend to others, but set expectations that this is more of a comfortable budget hotel and nowhere near a 4*.
Pool area lovely with great selection of beds and pool and bar staff lovely. Comfortable bed, appreciate the mattress topper over the top of two beds. Breakfast was decent, dinner was good. Restaurant staff amazing, very friendly and attentive. Room cleaned every day to good standard.

CyprusMy friend’s room was on the fifth floor. The room was old, the floor was dirty, and the decoration was nowhere near as neat and tasteful as ours. The pool was very beautiful, but there were too few sunbeds considering the number of rooms—same with the parking spaces. Several staff members were rude. For example, when we asked at reception around 6:00 PM what time the pool closes, they told us 6:30, but the lifeguard started clearing everyone out by 6:15, saying she wanted to go home. The breakfast was not up to the standards of a four-star hotel. Also, towels and toothbrushes were not replaced after cleaning our room, and in my friend’s room, some basic items we had in ours were missing altogether.
Our room was on the first floor; it was spacious and beautiful, tastefully decorated, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere

United KingdomRooms could do with a little makeover, they smelt a little putrid. The bed was super uncomfortable. Spa was closed which was disappointing. Pool closes at 6. Food was nice but can’t eat or drink around the pool.
Staff we very friendly & warm. We were given an upgrade which was great (pool view instead of carpark)

United KingdomSmall pool area for the size of the hotel in peak season. Good luck finding a spare sun lounger. No separate area for kids.
Spacious room and very clean but bathroom is tiny. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. AC was also very good, not noisy on the low setting and kept the room at a perfectly cool temperature. Breakfast was ok but the coffee isn’t great.

United KingdomThe parking needs to be controlled. The machine to tap the cart is there but they don't use it. It was impossible to find parking between around 7pm and 10 pm. After 10pm there were plenty of spaces. I think this is because people who don't stay at the hotel park in the hotel's parking spaces to go to the restaurants close by, making it impossible for the resisents to find parking if they arrive during these times. I returned to the hotel at around 9pm, couldn't find a place to park, left, returned after an hour and it was half empty.
The hotel rooms are nice, as shown in pictures. The bathroom was clean and modern.

IsraelShower holder was weared out. Only one socket is available for all your gadgets and it's not on the bed side. I.e. you can't keep within reach of hand your mobile on charger. A remote for A/C could help (control unit mounted on the wall, so you need to walk to it each time you want change work of the A/C).
Spacious, clean.
