The hotel itself is outdated. It needs immediate renovation. the common areas did not feel really clean or comfortable. The pool area lacked appeal and didn’t really encourage swimming, relaxing on the sunbeds, or enjoying any refreshments.

Location was perfect. One the best beaches of Protaras was right at our doorstep, and just steps from the main road lined with restaurants, bars and shops. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. They even upgraded us to a very spacious family room. The room was very recently renovated and had see view.

However, there were a few issues that took away from an otherwise great experience. The telephone in the room didn’t work, and one of the bed lights was also out. The room could have been cleaner, and the pool wasn’t as well-maintained as expected — there was sand and grass in the water, likely brought in from the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Iliada. The hotel is perfectly located just steps away from Fig Tree Bay and Sunrise Beach — in my opinion, the best beaches in Protaras. We had a sea view room, and the view was absolutely amazing. There’s also easy access to the beautiful pedestrian walkway along the coast, which was a great bonus.

The music at the pool was completely depressing and very loud, did not fit with the time and place. One day there were no hand towels, which is not expected from a 4 star hotel, the grass at the pool areas was watered every day around 1830, while the pool was still opened and operative, one day my book was almost destroyed since I have left my stuff on the sun bed by that time and went for swimming; it was difficult to find sunbeds during the weekend, the bar at the pool should also have some juices it only had coffees and drinks with alcohol. By the day we came at the hotel, we hardly found only one parking area.

The location was perfect and the room renovated and beds comfortable. Air condition was also very good.

Don’t expect luxury. It’s basic accommodation and offerings with the location being its biggest drawcard.

The only negative thing was lack of sunbeds in a good spot due to the same people going out before 7am every morning to put their towels out.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything needed for a 3 night stay. The bar staff were all excellent. Location was perfect for strolling along the strip for drinks and dinner.

Music selection by the pool area could have been allot better. The hotel next door was playing much nicer music, Motown greats. Upgrade the tv package with satellite tv so for the times you wanna relax you can actually finds something

The breakfast selection lacked variety, with the same food offered each day. This repetitive menu quickly became monotonous and did little to stimulate the appetite. I would have appreciated a greater emphasis on fresh fruits and vegetables to add both flavor and nutritional value. Overall, the breakfast experience was underwhelming and could benefit from more diversity and freshness.

The location was outstanding — I could truly feel the presence of the sea right from my room. The sound of the waves and the fresh sea breeze created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.

The food at dinner time and the sweets was very bad Also the staff at dinner were very unprofessional and one waitress was very rude. She also put her foot on the trolley to tigh her shoes on the serving troley and the second time on a chair, she also was playing very silly with a waiter

The swimming pool always seemed to be in the shade and the water temperature was extremely bracing. This did however mean that the pool was always quiet. The food on offer at the buffet dinner was varied and plentiful but in keeping with buffet type services, the food was often luke warm rather than hot which was a shame.

The location was excellent, slap bang in the middle of Protaras and walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. The rooms were comfortable and offered all of the room facilities that we needed.

Food and location where they serve it. Too many flies fluting around the restaurant and also tables and chairs are not so clean. Hotel looks outdated even it’s renovated couple of years ago.
