The hostel is a little bit shabby, but just a little. It is still a hostel... so people come and go, there lots of shared spaces, so it is hard to keep things 100% clean. Nothing major. If you expect a decent cheap hostel, this will probably meet your expectations.

I was good value for money. The room was quite clean and quiet (I was in an only-girls-room). There was a nice common terrace. The toast and coffee for breakfast is simple but actually a good start of the day. The location is close to the sea. The staff was nice and helpful. I liked the curtains on my bed, it gives you privacy.

You don't wear shoes inside, this did not bother me but the floors do get a little dirty so do take inside shoes. The floor by the showers get wet so same issue, take inside shoes or you'll wash and immediately go into dirty water. Wasn't the worst thing just inconvenient. Beds are 3 tier so not a lot of room to sit up in (I'm 5ft) and bars nearby so noisy until midnight, although I still managed to sleep. I was told refurbishments should be happening soon though

The staff were very kind and helpful throughout. The location is good and the outside area and common area has many places to sit. Working kitchen, although needs a little TLC and WiFi worked well. Is good for people who like a bit of quiet as they have quiet time after 10pm but also was sociable at the same time. Curtains on beds, a plug by the bed and a light and you each get a locker, although some have shelves so bigger bags will stay on the floor

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere a lot. You can enjoy your self-prepared breakfast on the spaceous and comfy terrasse. It's conveniently close to the thriving harbor.

No shoes policy. Pointless when not applicable to staff and the floors, especially the kitchen and patio areas were dirty and covered with ants, etc. Sleeping rooms were a little cramped but adequate. Some periodic daily ventilation would have kept the odour of too many bodies in a small space down as there were no apparent windows in the sleeping rooms.

The place needs to be refreshed (i.e. rust in the bathrooms). The bathroom curtains don't work very well so be prepared for wet shoes/slides. There's very little clearance over the bed so it's a bit difficult to get in and out (and when "sliding" out of my bed I scraped the back of my leg on the top of the ladder - I was more careful later but it should be secured

Lovely staff - Alex and Joseph, very solid location (not too far away to Marina and Lidl), beds and pillows were comfortable, there's a patio (but usually someone smokes there, not perfect for me), the breakfast is there (although very simple)

The room was fairly dark, even during the day and it was a little hard to get into the highest bunk beds.

More a refugee camp than a hostel. Passable breakfast, but sometimes bread or milk were missing Tap drinkable water was sometimes not running. Toilet paper sometimes missing Uncomfortable bed, I almost had backache. Clothes hanger almost unavailable for guests, I had to hang clothes on the chairs in the middle of the common room. Overall chaotic and dirty

The middle bed of the bunkbeds was a little uncomfortable because I didn't have enough room to sit up but otherwise the beds were nice. The showers were all together and not separated to men and women and it was a little uncomfortable but there were locks on the doors so it wasn't too bad.

The place had a homie vibe. The beds were comfortable and the places were pretty clean. There were some communal food supplies for breakfast which was nice. The staff was really helpful. The location was really close to the old town but still a little in the side in a quieter area.

Electricity was cut-off in the morning with no notice, which made me leave sooner than later. I guess they can't control electricity going down, so I wouldn't hold it against them! Also, it has some walking distance to the beach which might not be ideal for walking under the sun during the middle of the day.

This hostel is great for a short and economical stay. The employee on shift was super friendly and welcoming! :) He gave me a detailed tour and made sure I'd feel welcome and safe, reassuring me to ask for help if there's anything/anyone that makes me feel uncomfortable. That's a great welcome to receive when you travel solo in hostels.

Cleanliness could be improved. Many little broken things that could be fixed if someone cared enough. Bring earplugs.

The private room was cosy & the terrace is a nice place to meet people and enjoy the evening. The receptionist seemed like a kind man trying his best to handle everything & take care of the guests, he let us store our luggage also, not his fault that the overall management of the property seems lacking. Walkable distance to things.

Although a hostel shouldn’t bring too high expectations, I thought it was a bit expensive for a hostel with triple bunk beds. I was in the middle bunk and could not sit up, not even to sip water, and it got really warm. The beds and floor were also very shaky. The showers and bathroom were clean but a bit dated and could use some love. The paint is chipping in the showers and the shower curtain was growing stains. Not critical things but could be given some more love. The breakfast was not a breakfast

A place to crash for a few nights, is a close walk to some nice beaches etc. The staff were very funny and we had some good laughs

This hostel was good, i mean it’s an old building and it has it’s problems. Staff is great, Joseph was always there to talk about life’s mysteries :) Yuri kept me entertained with his technical knowlage. A great place to stay at!

Common space felt a bit cramped and not enough space for bags as most people left them around on the floor.

Staff was excellent. Joseph and Yuri were both great. I saw Joseph have to put up with guests being rude and politely roll with it. They both would go grab more of the breakfast supplies right away when requested. AC was nice as were curtained beds

It’s a no-shoes property, so the toilets could get a bit more love, as the floor is unpleasant to stand on. Or maybe single-use slippers could be provided. The hand soap dispenser emptied and was not refilled and the sink holes had no covers, so I saw a few plastic caps down in there (and I lost one too). There are no hooks to hang a towel while or a place to put toiletries while washing your face

The hostel happened to have a reduced rate for the whole month of April 2024, which was exactly the period of my stay. I reached out to booking.com on multiple occasions to review my booking rate, but never got a response whatsoever. I spoke to staff of the hostel on this matter, but since my booking was not a direct one but through booking.com, I was obviously directed to contact booking. Unfortunately the booking.com recently has become very poor on the customer service and ease of reach recently. I saw complaints about it on facebook but did not believe it, until I faced this issue with my last stay. Quite sad. Will seriously consider if I book my future stays with this platform and recommend everyone travelling or planning to travel to do the same.

A great location stay super close to major attractions and is very city center like. Highly recommended as you literally can even walk to alot of places as well as have the convenience of multiple bus stops all around, not only within the city but intercity as well.
