Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

CyprusThe fact that there is no door for the toilet,even as a couple you need your privacy! I dont know if all the rooms are like that but ours was. This is the only detail.

GreeceAs I mentioned earlier, in our opinion, the hotel is still in its trial-and-error stage, so there are some things that could improve. For example, one night we ordered room service and ate inside, but unfortunately, the food arrived cold. Another point is the food and beverage menus. The snack section was quite limited, and the beverage menu mainly offered coffees and soft drinks. It would be nice to see more summer-style options such as smoothies or fresh juices.
The hotel has just opened, so it still feels like it’s in a trial-and-error phase. That being said, the vibes were perfect, and the Cycladic-inspired design was spot on. The pools were stunning, with very comfortable beds, some even placed directly over the water, which was a beautiful touch. Our room was stylish, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was excellent, offering everything you could imagine, along with live cooking so you could enjoy your eggs hot and freshly made. Overall, it’s a beautiful place with great potential.

CyprusTerrible Experience – Not Worth the Money* I deeply regret staying at *Aya Hotel*. From the moment we arrived, the experience was frustrating and unacceptable. It took *over an hour* just to check in — all while standing outside *under the heat* with *no staff showing any concern* for guests waiting. 1/5 Stars - Poor Service Paid for mojitos, but staff accused us of not paying despite showing proof on my phone. At the check out again we had the same problem they asked again to pay the mojito Once we got into the room, things didn’t get any better. A staff member *entered our room without knocking* or ringing the bell, claiming he came to “check the fridge.” When I asked him why he entered without announcing himself, he said he wasn’t informed the room was occupied. That is *completely unprofessional* and a clear invasion of privacy. The room itself was *a disaster*: – The *air conditioning didn’t work normally was turning off every few time and the room was hot We paid *over €450* for a stay that was *far from comfortable*. We didn’t enjoy a single moment, and it certainly wasn’t worth the price. This was a zero-star experience. I do not recommend this hotel , and I personally will never return
