How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The beds were too soft and creaky. Rooms appeared old and no place to hang up towels in the bathroom

It is a 3 star at a push, rooms were basic and a bit shabby.
Entertainment was 1st class..food was varied .all of the staff from cleaning ladies ..bar staff...reception ladies and bosses were exceptional.very freindly and helpful.

Bedroom was very tired! Needs some repairs as shower riser was hanging off wall & needs decorating/improvements

It is in need of modernisation, however it was cheap to stay there so reflected in the price. Food wasn’t amazing but again ok for the cost of the stay.
Sunbeds were easy to get and no early morning reserving of beds. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We got one key only for the room, although it wasn’t a big problem. The room doors don’t reduce noise at all.
Everything was in place, the beach and shop was in about 5 min walk. The service was okay. I could always find something good for the meals.

Cleaners never fully cleaned the room other than one day, alway forgetting to leave something not replaced like coffee or milk or toilet rolls or towels
The food was very good and the staff where excellent, made the holiday experience much better, the staff in the restaurant and the pool bar were first class with a special mention for Ayushma who always made you feel welcome. Entertainment team were very good always trying to get everyone involved, great staff all around. The room for the time spent was very good, could do with a little maintenance but overall fine

Everything in hotel is quite old. The most annoying thing that we could hear everything happening in the corridor outside the room. The room was equipped with two single beds, but the double has been requested. The water in swimming was pretty cold, the indoor pool was also closed.
Great food quality, but the variety can be better, especially in the morning. The room perfectly fits the family of four. Not that far from the sea and the city center. It also has an archeological museum nearby. Everything in the hotel are compactly located and easy to reach

They kept putting us outside to the pool bar for lunch, my wife has COPD,and found it to far to walk,it was to small and cramped for the amount of people staying there. The room maids were terrible, beds only made up once during our stay the tea,sugar,and milk was not replenished after the first day, the hotel around the rooms was too noisy with banging doors and shouting and quite dirty, and the lifts not big enough for a hotel of this size, and parking not enough spaces, in all needs all rooms refurbished.
The food was a good standard, the staff in the restaurant,bar and reception were good friendly and courteous. The restaurant good if a bit crowded.
