Loud traffic noise from nearby road.

It was so beautiful and unique and relaxing. The whole setting is like being in a magical jungle forest. The animals/birds provide lovely background noises. The owners are so nice and kind and helpful. Both Danita and George were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The breakfasts are amazing!!! Thanks Ben for the delicious food:)

Personally there wasn’t anything for us not to like…

It felt like a perfect little nature oasis of peace, waking up with the mondi sounds isn’t something you automatically get on the island anymore now with the rise of concrete box resorts everywhere.

There is a lot of mosquitoes but that’s not really the properties fault.

Loved the open kitchen and the garden area where we could bbq and cook outside. Loved to say hello to the donkeys in the morning too. Staff all very very friendly. Breakfasts were delicious! Lots of nature. We saw lots of colourful birds, parrots, lizards, cats and dogs. Pool was lovely and deep (bit of a surprise how deep). But luxurious to soak in after a long day. Bed was very comfortable and spacious.

EVERYTHING!!!!❤️

Breakfast was every day very tasty. If it would be too spicy you only needed to communicate that and a little change was made in the kitchen. Perfect. Our little lodge fullfilled all our wishes. Very lovely located between beautiful plants and with 2 little housefriends, small lizards, as a bonus! In the morning we loved to wake up with all the variaty of bird singing. A pool next to the lodge, a lovely veranda with a roof van, lounge chairs to relax. Every now and than an big iguana walked passed our lodge. If you pay attention and sit still for a while you could even spot a little hummingbird. It was like living in a small, green, carribic paradise. We enjoyed ever minute!!!

The traffic noise can be annoying sometimes but that's not the fault of the hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bungalows are very comfortable and it's fun to watch the lizards on the patio. There are so many beautiful plants on the whole area as well as a lot of birds and reptiles. We didn't have any problems with mosquitoes. The breakfast was so delicious and it was a pleasure to be greeted every morning by the very friendly Ben. The online guest book was really helpful with all the recommendations.

Nothing to do with the hotel...but Curaçao is crowded with mosquitoes....between 6 and 8 at either end of the day, wear repellent or long sleeves, trousers. especially is you intend to fall asleep in a hammock😅

I have been to over 90 countries and have stayed in countless hotels of all kinds. The Mondi Lodge is amongst the most memorable, special places I have ever had the pleasure to stay in, and I can't recommend it highly enough in every way. The people who own and run it are fantastic, the grounds are full of beautiful plants and animals, it has a cool pool area with a kitchen and a trust fridge full of drinks, you can drink the tap water, the breakfast is really tasty, with a different special every morning, its close to town, but beautifully quiet so you can hear birdsong not diesel engines, and all the rooms are wee separate houses, so no noise from other guests either. I chose the tree house room...the clue is in the name....and yes, its a 2 storey wooden house built round a banyan tree, with an outdoor shower, really comfortable big bed, and just the coolest terrace upstairs, with a fridge and kitchen area, where I actually spent so much time swinging in a hammock, I could hardly be bothered going out to see any of Curaçao's beaches. It is really, really special.

Authentic place in a natural environment. Our stay was Perfect! We loved the breakfast in the morning. Everything is hand made with love. Hospitality was super..and the botanical garden exceptional. We felt welcome and felt the love for the place and for their guest. Super Suggested.

Mosquitos and traffic noise. Would recommend ear plugs at night. Small price to pay for great experience, though.

The design of treehouse was unique and memorable. It felt like we were part of nature and not trying to escape it. For breakfast, the food and service were great. They offered daily specials and a vast menu. The central location on the island is great for exploring north and south. The staff were friendly and accommodating in every way.

Noise from loud cars at night, two beds pushed together, they moved easily in middle and wasn't so comfortable.

Nothing really. Only thing we would have been happy without were the mosquitos but I guess they came first

We had a wonderful time at Mondi Lodge. Danita and Janine were super welcoming and the place is really nice, quiet and well kept. Breakfast was amazing and really made the difference when starting your day before heading off to the beach. Our kids (5 and 8yo) had a really nice time as well and were always running around the lodge looking for a new animal to discover. Perfect location as well if you want to drive around the island.

Nothing pure perfection!

The staff was lovely. We felt very welcomed and cared for. The bungalow was clean comfortable and truly a unique experience. We especially loved the outdoor shower! The breakfasts were delicious and very creative. The animals added to the beautiful natural atmosphere!

We had a amazing stay at Mondi lodge - our tree house was awesome and comfy, everything needed had been thought of for us, the whole team are lovely and breakfast was amazing everyday! I highly recommend looking at the activities and suggestions provided - we did some great tours and activities that we wouldn’t have known about other than by suggestion

This place is just amazing! Beautiful nature, excelente pool, great house and a fantastisch fresh breakfast every morning! The owner is adorable and will do her extra best for you to feel as confortable and relaxed as possible! Service is really great! The outside shower is so nice!

We loved everything, and people should be aware that the location is not walkable to anything (food, groceries, beaches, etc.) We didn't mind, but good to know.

A green oasis full of life, delicious breakfast, palapas have everything you need. The pool is fabulous and we loved coming back to sit on the porch at the end of the day.
