The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and we stayed in one of the more expensive rooms, with ocean views. I have some back issues, but they were made much worse with these beds -- just way too hard. And I can't do soft! You'll gather here I'm a bit of a goldilocks type when it comes to the bed, but it's just so important when traveling. I didn't sleep very well and had to use the comforters from both beds to create my own "nest" for some comfort.

Great location; easy drive from the airport, into town, and accessible to main roads, allowing variety in restaurants, beaches and activities during our stay. Rental car a must, IMO, and worth it to make the most of Curacao. You can rent a car via hotel, but it's must cheaper to do so in advance from a provider at the airport. We loved the little market onsite and the food at the resort overall was good, albeit expectedly pricey for the quality (this is consistent with most resorts). Hotel knew how to cater to many cultures, from food variety to service. We fell in love with the chia pudding! Also loved morning yoga, great to have access to snorkel gear for a quick swim. Beach was kept clean and was gorgeous -- nicely sized swimming coves and plenty of space. We went to two other local beaches during our stay and spent the other days at the Marriott beach...was a treat to have such a nice beach right there. Ocean view from room was amazing. Loved the nightly music in the lobby -- became our evening tradition to sit and listen to music, hear the waves crashing in the distance, and play a game or two at one of the tables. Comfortable sofas as well in the lobby -- overall and surprisingly so, the lobby was one of the best parts of the resort.

No spa or any entertainment on property. At a minimum happy hour and light evening activities are a must to be competitive. They need a real minibar in room especially since they have good room service and it’s not all inclusive. Would definitely stay here again for a few dad of lux R&R.

Super peaceful, clean, spacious and easy to get around. Good eats for value. Garden walkout ocean view suites are wonderful. Denise is absolutely amazing for a deep tissue.

The property is beautiful! The house reef is great for snorkeling! The gym is well equipped. The food and beverage prices are high. We ate our dinners in town and loved the variety of foods.

The hotel was very nice and the stuff was excellent, but the housekeeping that clean the room was not good was bad I had to call the housekeeper desk to send somebody to come and sweep and mop the floor in my room She only do the bed nothing else that was the only problem I have besides that everything was good.

Too expensive, 15% added service charges to every night and all checks have a 10% added service charge, yet they say gratuity isn’t added. No free bikes on premises as advertised. The beds are like rocks, it really aggregated my sciatica.

Value for money. The hotel has no character. A huge five stars hotel like that should have more character. More magic since it's in an island. The hotel doesn't give you any reason to stay there during the day. The breakfast is not included and the breakfast price is the highest I had ever paid in a hotel. Two people for breakfast: - two bagles - 3 coffees for $46. (buffet $35 per person).

Overall it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. Onsite car rental, high speed wifi, nice beach, great pool, great staff, simple set up, but very efficient in order to enjoy the resort and the island.

Not really a criticism but is it not walking distance to town or restaurants we knew this ahead of time so we rented a car Taxis are very expensive Also if you are looking for local cuisine you should look outside the resort
