Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsWe had a very pleasant stay at B&B Zonderland in Curaçao. Karin and Rene are excellent hosts – welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Staying here truly felt like being guests in their home. The location is very convenient, close to a large supermarket and centrally located, making it easy to explore the island. The practical touches really stood out, such as the possibility to wash and dry laundry and having a dedicated shelf in the freezer for groceries. The garden is well-kept, with a swimming pool that’s perfect for relaxing. Karin and Rene also have three lovely dogs and some cats, and their care for the animals and the environment is really evident, which we appreciated a lot. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We’d recommend it to anyone visiting Curaçao.

Everything was perfect! The property is gorgeous, owners are awesome people, very friendly and laid back. For 5 days we felt like “home”. The apartment was beautiful and very well appointed - a lot of care went into the design and colour scheme. Hung around the lovely pool for 2 full days, there was no reason to leave. Loved the neighbourhood, too, with a terrific grocery store (and flamingos!) at the end of the street. Cheers Rene & Karin for creating such a welcoming and beautiful property!

NetherlandsI loved waking up early and enjoy the birds singing by sunrise in the garden. The pool is lovely. The owners are easy going and relaxed. It was a great experience. Breakfast is served (if you wish) only on the first day. It was a very nice and complete breakfast.

Spain- super quiet, we slept very well, the birds were singing in the garden <3 - wonderful facilities in the studio, the kitchen fully equipped, the shower fantastic - a great central location where we could easily catch a public bus -there is an amazing huge supermarket very close to the villa - the hosts do a really great job, their villa is gorgeous, clean and really well equipped with a beautiful garden and a swimming pool - the hosts are lovely people always there to answer your questions
