A little out of the centre of Ponta do Sol

Good value accommodation including breakfast. Staff were very helpful in arranging pickup by public aluguer to Porto Novo to catch the morning ferry to Mindelo. Breakfast was all set out so we were able to eat it before our early departure.

Sissi's guesthouse is like being at home. You have all the facilities. Kitchen, refrigerator, space to do laundry and even a hairdryer. I appreciate it. I will miss fresh made guava juice every day..

Located in a quiet place althought it is in the main street. The main square is 3 minutes away by walk, and the port, 5. Sissi must be the best host in Ponta do Sol: friendly, caring, responsive, resourceful... Excellent breakfast and high comfort. Highly recommended!

Nice room in a family house. Clean and cosy, a bit obsolete, but charming. Very friendly people and a tasty breakfast. A big terrace to watch sunset.

Very hospitable, arranged for aluguer to fetch us early in the morning, with breakfast available at the early hour. Having washed some clothes drying on the roof I forgot my cap there. Incredibly I received it already the same afternoon down in Tarrafal, after Sissi passed it on to the same aluguer driver, Philippe, who took us to Porto Novo in the morning. A level of service and distribution mechanism unknown in Europe :-) Thanks to both Sissi and Philippe!

Nothing, everything was fantastic!

Sissi is one of my favourite hostesses in all of Cape Verde. She is a really sweet and caring person. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing: omlette with delicious fresh youghut, bread, cheece, fresh coffee, juice, butter jam and a small cake. This is the best breakfast in all of CV. Sissi welcomed me as arrived off the alugeur, waving at me from her top window. She showed me around and helped me understand the hiking alternatives in the area, how to get there and how much it costs. She is very interested in helping you, not just grabbing your money. Sissi also allows you use of her kitchen, stove and refrigerator. She is truely a terrific host and helped me have an amazing time in Santo Antao. Thank you Sissi!!!

Sissi was very nice. The rooms were clean and we got an early breakfast the day we left so we can eat and still catch the ferry, which was very nice. The location is also very good.

The water pressure was weak in the shower and in the toilet and the wifi was not always working.

Sissi and her husband were such sweet hosts, she even gave us some homemade snacks to bring with us for our hike. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was okay. The place is on the main street of Ponta Do Sol where vans and aluguers pass, so you can easily catch a ride.

Sissi was very friendly and accommodating. The guest house was quiet and conveniently located. The breakfasts were hardy, and she allowed me to eat early one day, so I could catch an early ferry. Sissi even set up my aluguer. I would highly recommend a visit.
