United KingdomThe Hotel is located on the beach. Water bottles provided for free in the fridges to take at your convenience. Food is amazing, plated as in a high-end restaurant. More than enough sun lounges on the beach. Beach bar is very convenient. Plenty of exercise classes and gym is available. Entertainment is almost every night. Would definitely recommend. Wi-fi even works on the beach😀

Extraordinary sports offer, very good food and spa, kind staff, comfortable rooms. I was most surprised by a very large and novative sports offer, from yoga to HIT, with very good trainers. Food offer was very good too, and daily sauna at the end of the day was the cherry on the cake. Evenings in February were too cold for us to attend evening events but they seemed very nice too. We appreciated a lot that hotel managed to extend our stay in despite of high demand. Even though majority of staff and guests are German, everyone speaks English and made us feel comfortable.

The hotel is very new and located in one of the best beach in Sal. The food is super delicious, varied and simple perfect. They have a lot of work out classes that are awsome, the quality is the same as a very good gym. The beach yoga is incredible! The rooms are new and are extremly confortable. And the staff is super nice, and communicative. I really liked that the staff ate at the buffet with the guests, it really shows they care about the employees.

On a (maybe) unrelated note, I had a problem with my booking (i had actually two) and I couldnt stay in the same room, nor did they communicate me that (I had to ask) .Late checkin wasnt an option for me neither... So small things, that takes a few points from an otherwise incredible resort.

I recently stayed at Robinson Cape Verde, and it was truly one of the best vacation experiences I’ve ever had. They keep it fun and engaging, so every day feels like an adventure if you want it to be! And let me rave about the food—easily the best I’ve had on the island. Not only is there a huge selection, but everything is also incredibly healthy and tasty. The chefs put a lot of thought into crafting meals that are as nutritious as they are delicious, and you can tell they use high-quality, fresh ingredients. From local Cape Verdean dishes to international options, every meal was a delight. All in all, Robinson Cape Verde combines the best of everything—an ideal location, excellent facilities, and staff that truly make the experience unforgettable. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful, welcoming setting.

GermanyExtremely german oriented, from the food to the animation program. I get that the most guests are germans, but you feel absolutely left out when the first language you are spoken to (fitness classes, for example) is german. Also you could notice how the european stuaff from the hotel are on some kind of paid holiday, just enjoying themselves between his jobs. If you are german, they would socialize with you. If not... Also, and that is the reason of my bad experience and for what I give only one point as a penalty; I had two reservations because I wanted to stay longer as expected. They couldnt arrange for me to stay on the same room. They couldnt either arrange for me a late checkout (considering how late are usually the flights to Sal island, maybe they should rearrange the check in and check out times). And the worst part is; I had to ask for this info many times at the recepcion, until the last day I didnt had a definitive answer from them. One should expect that such a fancy resort would go above and beyond for the confort of their guests, but I guess that is only for the german ones. Which is sad.

PortugalNoise (Said to be music) everyday, too loud, directed to everywhere, aimed for the gymn or hydro-gymn fans, but heard loud even on the beach, eventually on other islands!? That noise was daily till midnight, one day till 1 am!? It was heard even behind the double glazing of our room and with ear plugs! We were in room 1037, far from all those source of "pleasures" ... Doesn't the price pays some quietness and the chance to start resting at 10 or 11 pm? We strongly recommend persons willing to have some rest, not to go to this place. Why that wild and rough full disregard and disrespect to those guests that really would like to rest, instead of spending a week on an open skies discotheque or a military unit? Actually not a very clean unit: everyday we had the visit of several cockroaches! The food was average. For the price ... We never had loin, strip loin, tender loin, beef and pork meat were normally hard to cut with straight edge knives, so we don't understand the issue of providing, by default, serrated edge knives. Even begging for such a normal tool, only once we had it, yet after waiting too long.
Nice venue, very well arrange. Palm trees and other plants providing some freshness. Staff very kind throughout the whole journey, allowing us to have breakfast on arrival early morning despite the check-in time. All the elements of the compound well displayed, the beach close to the room, and with good sun shaders and loungers
