The hosts at the Casa da Djedja guest house were incredible. They were so knowledgable, gave great recommendations, and organized all of our reservations. We highly recommend the breakfast at this hotel, as everything was homemade, fresh, and integrated the best parts of Cabo Verdean cuisine. Aesthetically and comfort-wise, Casa was wonderful. The room was beautiful with comfortable beds, reliable hot water, a well-functioning AC, and a large TV. It is walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Mindelo and the ocean. Thank you Patricia for an amazing stay!

It's on the pricier side for Cape Verde, but they absolutely deliver.

A true boutique hotel that would earn top ratings anywhere in Europe. The building and the courtyard are stunning, with the smallest details carefully and tastefully thought out. Room was spacious, bed large and comfortable, and shower with great pressure. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. But the best part was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. They helped us areange transport and gave us great local recommendations. If we ever return to Mindelo, we're definitely staying here again.

Breakfast: As a vegetarian I didn't like the cheese to be placed right next/under the ham. Here and there I noticed a bit of hair (not just one or two) of previous guests on the floor.

This is a very tastefully designed hotel with lots of love for detail. I found it to be my most beautiful stay on Cabo Verde. Everyone was very friendly and accomodative. The room had lots of space and very high ceilings. The breakfast was delicious and rich.

The hotel is very new & beautifully designed with a charming courtyard. We had a nice & modern room. The staff was very attentive & let us really feel at home. We enjoyed their lovely breakfast which included local delicacies.

I liked everything!

This boutique hotel was well situated on a charming, quiet street in central Mindelo; it’s also only a few blocks away from the harbor and right near the main area to explore. Perfect location! From the beginning of my reservation, communication with the hotel was efficient and helpful. I also received a warm welcome upon arrival, even though I came late at night after my flight. The rooms are beautiful, well-decorated and very clean, and there is a cute patio area where you can relax outside of your rooms and have a delicious breakfast. I appreciated the friendly service and attention to detail from the staff. Absolutely loved this place and wish I could have stayed here a bit longer!

I liked the friendly atmosphere and the good humoured staff. Breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable and I liked the intimate, tropical garden. Very quiet. Everything is within reach by foot. Excellent place!!

We absolutely loved Casa da DjeDja. The warm welcome, the clean and cosy rooms, delicious breakfast with the best pineapple cake, a good location to explore Mindelo and above all the kindest personnel (Patricia, Jessica, Brigitte,…). After our stay we had a layover for about 8 hours at Sao Vicente and they allowed us to come back to the casa to store our luggage and use a room to freshen up for free. We would definitely recommend and come back here.

The design of the rooms, the staff and the air conditioning. This sounds weird to mention but the air conditioning was very smooth, not one that makes you catch a cold. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we really felt at home. Finally the design, I truly loved the furniture and the paintings, so peaceful. Oh and I forgot the location, one word center, close to everything!
