We had a lovely stay at Sonia’s - amazing and super welcoming host, we felt at home immediately. Helped with recommendations and tips for anything we needed. Very cute atmosphere and great location in the center of sal rei, as well as a lovely breakfast every morning - 100% recommended!

Nothing really, just a small note to the next traveller: and don't get me wrong, I love being close to nature. But I was so happy we had earplugs on us, as the chickens at the neighbors start clucking loud very early 😀

Sonia is a super nice welcoming host, full of energy. She shared great recommendations with us. Her place is cosy, would totally come back! Also, great value for the price. 🙏👌⛱️

I really enjoyed my stay at MIMABO B&B. Sonia, the manager, and her whole staff were really nice and helpful the whole time I spend there and I will defintely stay there again. The location in Sal Rei is perfect, the breakfast very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Thanks Sonia for your kindness and great hospitality!

The breakfast was delicious fresh local coffee, warm croissants and fresh fruit. Also cereal and local cachupa made if you’d like. Sonia and her team were genuinely warm and friendly.

I had a spacious, well-equipped and nicely decorated room with a comfortable bed. Everything was super clean, because my bedroom and the bathroom were fully cleaned everyday. The breakfast was simple but tasty. Both the owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a very good time there.

We didn't like the (lure) offer from booking.com shortly after booking, to upgrade our booking to get a better room with an additional payment to booking com. During our stay it was clear, that It would not have been possible to get a more expensive room that the one we booked with Sonia!

Sonia's MI MA BO Is centrally located, really ideal. She is a very good host and also helps to organize excursions. We also enjoyed the varied, balanced breakfast. Resilene, her also very friendly employee, makes the super-fine jam herself from various local fruits. Coming another time, we choose the MI MA BO again.

Yes, the streets do get noisy at night (coq, donkeys, dogs, music) - but that is normal, you will get this everywhere (and probably more in a resort with the night entertainment!). Think about where you are going! Just pack up ear plugs and eyemask and don't let this stop you from enjoying a wonderful stay

I spent the last 2 weeks in Mi Ma Bo, travelling as a solo woman and this is the PERFECT place to stay and make the most of the island, I just cannot recommend it enough. For a start, Mi Ma Bo is just so charming, look at the photos! Well decorated throughout, loved all the details. The location is extremely convenient in a quiet and charming street just a few minutes walk from the beach and shops/restaurants/bars, I felt SAFE all along. The rooms are big with private bathroom, good amenities. I enjoyed spending time on the balcony. Hot shower and good water pressure (which isn't always a given right!). Breakfast is good too, with homemade jam, fresh fruits and a small selection of sweet and savory - you don't need more. SONIA is the most wonderful host and will go up and arms to ensure you have the best stay, whether it is arranging excursions, fixing any issue or giving any recommendations, she really is a true STAR and so lovely. I did a few excursions that she recommended and all of them were great. Her staff Risilene and Rachido are both the kindest and trustworthy people who will take care of your room and breakfast. All in all a really great stay and I cannot wait to come back. GRAZIE SONIA SEI UN TRESORO

We had a great time at the bnb, Sonia was a great and very helpfull host. We liked the location an breakfast a lot. Sonia helped us with our way true Boa Vista. It was very nice meeting her! Would recommend Mi Ma Bo to everyone visiting Boa Vista and Sal Rei!
