From the front, it doesn't look like much. We were there in the low season, and some things were clearly being worked on (the above ground pool was covered for example), so I don't think it showed to its best advantage during the low season. But these little details didn't really matter much to our stay.

We stayed at the hotel our first night in San Jose after a late airport arrival, and our last night in San Jose before a morning departure. The hotel itself is pretty basic, and does not look like much from the front, but it was very well suited to our needs! The airport shuttle was convenient and easy to navigate (the hotel sent instructions in advance which were pretty clear, and we communicated with the driver via Whatsapp). The room was comfortable, with convenient power outlets and cute little folded towels. We landed in the dark, and it was nice to wake up to the greenery of the hotel garden as our first daytime view of Costa Rica. The breakfast buffet was great! Really tasty foods and juices. The first night we were told we were the only ones in the hotel, but they put out the whole breakfast, which was very nice. Proximity to the airport is great, especially if you are getting in late or have to leave early. (Some reviews have mentioned noise - I did hear planes flying overhead while we ate breakfast, but they did not disrupt our sleep at all), and the hotel was very close to our car rental agency, which made things very easy. (They also have their own car rental service, but we had already booked a car with Adobe before we made the hotel reservation, so we did not look into that option).

There was a delay in being allowed in. If raining that would have been very bad. A portable answering system for staff in cha5rge in case they are busy could be helpful.

We loved getting picked up at the airport late at night. It was comforting to know we’d have safe transport direct to the lodging. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast in a nice setting, too.

Given the close proximity to the airport, there is quite a lot of noise from the aeroplanes, but there were fewer flights than I expected and they don't run through the night, so overall not a problem.

The key selling point of this property was the shuttle service to/from the airport. They really do come and pick you up! There's free wifi in the airport so you just text them once you have your baggage and they turn up 10 minutes later. However, the property itself is actually rather nice as well. The rooms are set around a nice garden which I was not expecting given the built up nature of the surrounding area. Rooms are fairly spacious and well appointed. Bathroom/shower etc was all in order. Breakfast was good with a few more offerings beyond the traditional Gallo pinto. Staff were always friendly and helpful. There is a decent restaurant a few blocks away but other than that you would need to jump in the car to get anywhere else.

This was a great place to stay after arriving late at the San Jose Air Port. It was a short drive and the room was clean and comfortable. It had a lovely courtyard and breakfast.

The batteries on my TV remote were out. It was difficult to navigate the TV. I was not there to watch TV, so it was not a big deal. It served its purpose by allowing me to shower and rest.

My stay was an in-and-out experience. I arrived late to San Jose to stay the night, rest, and get up to fly out the next day. The location was perfect, clean, and comfortable.

Very accommodating when we arrived at 11pm, spotlessly clean and pleasant. All we needed for our first night before driving to Cahuita. We weren’t bothered by the airport noise even tho’ it was very close. Breakfast tasty and good choice of fresh fruit or cooked. Lovely to wake up to the birds calling, all round a charming place 😊

She make a wonderful breakfast. They are always quick to pick uus up at the airport. This time we had lots of luggage and he came prepared to get it all back yo the hotel. Excellent service!
