The hotel grounds are sometimes steep and slippery when wet, which is almost always during the wet season. I slipped ones on a slightly mossy pavement and hurt my wrist.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The a la carte breakfast was delicious. I liked the swimming pools.

There was a big group of teenagers making noise at night. We could not find security to make it stop. The next day the staff made effort to help us out.

The room was a little dated. Not enough hangers. We also had two nights of some noise as the rooms are not sound proofed, so unless people are really quiet you can hear them. I asked about a trip that they are advertising on the Internet for $65, but they wouldn't give it me at that price as we had already booked our room. It felt a bit ironic that someone staying 4 nights in the hotel got a worse deal than someone who might just book one night. I get they are trying to get people to book their rooms, but sometimes you have to also look after guests who are staying a number of nights and didn't get the option when booking. 😏 in the end we booked something independently of the hotel. No kettle in the room. Laundry was expensive.

The gardens were lovely and the pools very nice.the restaurant was good and the breakfast was also good. The rooms are nicely laid out in the grounds. Air-conditioning and fans keep the room cool. Pool towels were fresh and useful. Live music on Fridays is a nice idea and adds atmosphere. The pool lit up at night looks beautiful. We saw iguanas and birds in the grounds. The pool table and bar area was also nice.

If anything, the lack of warm water. This is very common for Costa Rica though. My husband mentioned he did have warm (maybe even hot) water later on, so that may vary. Everything else was superb.

Great hotel, stayed here for one night to recharge while traveling around with a rooftop tent. I read some negative reviews regarding the restaurant, but personally I can only compliment the food as well as all staff. The prices in the restaurant are below most of the restaurants in Costa Rica outside of hotels, which seems unusual. Kids loved the pool. We were happy to get a suite all the way in the back, which felt like being in the middle of the jungle.

The restaurant breakfast was great, but the dinner menu did not accommodate dietary preferences all that interestingly so we ate in town.

It’s a very comfortable property with active bird life. The patio was really nice. It was just a half mile or so from Dominical which we really enjoyed.

I would have preferred my room with only the king-size bed. There was no need for a single too, and it took up valuable space.

I love this place. 😍 The restaurant/bar is fab. The gardens are magnificent. My room was perfectly nice, and the bathroom was large. There's also a little terrace for chilling outside, in privacy. The pool area is wonderful, and a second pool for exercise is very useful. It's also in a great location - next to the river, and a short, flat drive to Dominical. Absolutely loved it, and will definitely stay longer next time. 🤩

Beautiful grounds with wonderful pool and dining facility. Room was small and crowded with an extra twin bed awkwardly placed in room in addition to the queen bed. But large private porch with comfortable chairs and table. Easy drive to town. Breakfast was great with friendly servers. Unfortunately, there was a large group of teens there during our stay who were very loud, running around between the villas and screaming in the pool until 10 at night both nights. Definitely disrupted the serenity of the resort. Staff appeared not to do anything to control the situation.

Nice villas in a lushy garden with privacy. Every room has a terrace with outdoor sink and fridge (junior suite has also a coffee machine). We liked the own jungle trail and saw many monkeys there (between 6 - 7 am). Some of the villas are a little further and uphill, but with no problem managable. The hotel restaurant is very good! Lot of iguanas, birds and squirells to see.

If we have to pick one, we didn’t have hot water to shower. The staff was apologetic and was trying to fix it so it should be fine by now. Not too much of an issue as it’s quite warm.

Everything was just amazing. We truly enjoyed the beautiful garden and really nice pool with swim up bar. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Really nice patio area to relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also loved the quiet and relaxing vibe during our entire stay. Highly recommended.
