There was no sound proofing in the rooms. There was a lot of noise outside the room early in the mornings and also late at night. The ceiling fan was squeaking and it didn´t really cut it with the heat. Shower water temperature was not adjustable.

Location was great and also the bed was comfortable. Room size ok.

Good vibe here, super friendly people and a little away from the busy core of Tamarindo which was nice. Close to the small ferry across the mangrove to playa grande.

The mattresses are like sleeping in direct contact with metal springs! Fine for us for one or two nights but maybe not the best option for a longer stay.

Great hostel is you are travelling on a budget. Perfect location in town. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are basic and a bit outdated but this wasn’t an issue. The kitchen is great!!!

The staff was incredibly friendly and fun to talk to, AC worked consistently and we had a full size fridge in our room. The location was a quick 5 minute walk to Playa Tamarindo as well as all of the incredible restaurants.

The rooms are ok but they require an upgrade, maybe some paint to re fresh the look. Every thing is outdated. Also, there was a lot of noise at night and early morning. People yelling and some kind of bangs .

Because of all the beds in the space within the bedroom, it is quite cramped and somewhat of a struggle getting through and into beds. The bathroom is small, but like the main bed area, there's little they can do to add space within the confines of the structure itself. They don't have warm shower water, but with temperatures in the 90s⁰F, it's not too bad

The management is excellent and very knowledgeable about many things regarding the Tamarindo area. The room was packed with beds: larger (I belive full size) bed, and a double bunk bed. The bathroom was small also, but A-typical for much of the area. The hostel is within walking distance from major attractions and restaurants also

Super noisy every night and morning with music and people yelling. I'm pretty sure it must of been the night and morning staff. All throughout the night and early morning 5am

The manager and woman were super nice and helpful. Gave us information on everything even gave me cream for my broken toe. Location and price were good. Have lots of things you can book through the hostel

Gave this place a high rating due to the kindness of the staff and the fun hostel vibes. They have a great kitchen and places to lounge and meet others. There is always a beautiful breeze blowing through the hall and the hostel is 5 steps away from the beach! *Make sure to take the surf lessons! Great instructor, good prices and Tamarindo is the perfect spot for beginner surfers! Definitely recommend!

We had the privilege to watch the World Cup at Tsunami! Oh wow it was so much fun. We were close to the beach and the hotel is so charming- The host are so nice! Thank you!

Toilet broke after 3 days and had stuff running out of it the rest of the time. You could also see the toilet broke before and was just fixed with some tape. Also loud people from 6am on.
