The location is great, and the road to get up there is actually pretty fun; once you get used to it, you can move up and through it pretty quickly. 4x4 or high clearance is required. There's a very good restaurant within about less than ten minutes away. The noises of the jungle are really loud, and it's also very quiet at times and very dark. There's an awesome waterfall, just a few minutes away to swim in!

No blackout curtains so it gets very bright in the A.M. After a day, I got used to the jungle noise, but it's very loud, which is also kind of great! While there were no issues with security, if the property was gated, it would feel a little more secure. The upper ledges and areas that are hard to reach could be cleaned better.

Unbelievable host; he was very kind. When the lock on our cabin broke, he upgraded us to a better cabin. The view and pool are stunning; you can see the sun setting over the sea from the middle of the jungle, where the cabins are located. The rooms are beautiful, in my opinion, and the patio is very nice. Only advice: a 4x4 car is mandatory if you want to stay at this facility. I would recommend this stay.

Absolutely stunning location. Felt as if you were living in the jungle. Comfy king bed and loved the outdoor shower! Would stay there again!

The great outdoor living space

Absolutely wondefull. The outside livingroom was very comfy, great seats and a lovely swimming Pool. The only negative we could think of was that we only stayed 2 nights.

The cabana was gorgeous, the terrace and views were breathtaking and I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool. Matthew was very welcoming, discrete and went out of his way to make my stay memorable.

Remote quiet nice pool

Matt was extremely helpful and responsive. He provided answers and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was great! At night there's a nice breeze if you leave all the windows open. We saw Toucans building a nest and discovered a hidden waterfall. Make.sure you have a 4x4!!!

I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like. The cabana had everything we needed. That said, the property is starting to show its age.

We loved how secluded and private it was - with breathtaking views and coffee with our toucans in the morning. The pool was so nice and refreshing after a day of exploring. So peaceful and tranquil

We loved everything about it - just note there isn’t a gate but security wasn’t an issue. Being so high up, fans were enough to keep us cool as well.

Beautiful tranquil location, with amazing wildlife and sunset views. Cabina’s were modern, and clean. We would definitely recommend to others and come back again.

We arrived during a down pour and we couldn't have had a better greeting our host was very pleasant and gave us an umbrella to use. We enjoyed our stay even though it was raining. We ate our dinner by the pool which was perfect. We were only there one night, but wish we could've stayed longer, it was a beautiful area and we didn't get to see the view because of the rain, but can only image what the view is from there. It's a gorgeous setting.

Maybe an opportunity is place a dark curtains in front the bed to get up a little late.

Great location, excellent staff looked after our needs every time. Facilities were the greatest, well setup lots of kitchen essentials both at the cabins and the pool. Fantastic pool!

Nothing it was perfect!

The property is beautiful and peaceful - I loved waking up in the morning and enjoying a quiet morning on our porch, looking for birds, doing yoga (mats provided in the room), and just chilling out, while my boyfriend made coffee in the outdoor kitchen. The air up here was cooler and not too buggy, which was very pleasant after our first night down at the coast! We were just there for one night but definitely would have enjoyed a bit more time here! While there we enjoyed visiting nearby waterfalls as well as an awesome coffee tour at Cafe Don Emilio.

Thankful my partner was driving and not me :) The road is fine but you do need to be prepared to be driving a steep road for a bit from the main coastal road! (as they say, have 4WD!)

Exceptionally peaceful stay immersed in nature and all the sounds that come with it. A great experience.

Beautiful location. It is a fairly steep dirt road going to property, however it wasn't a problem for us during the dry season. Room was comfortable. Enjoyed the nice pool & surrounding area. Plants were beautiful. Enjoyed watching the howler monkeys in the trees. Peaceful location.

It was very hot when we were there in March & there was no air conditiong. Outdoor shower needed to be cleaned as there was bat/bird poop on the wall.

No AC. Property is at top of long rocky dirt road. 4x4 required.
