7 hectares of beautiful forest, with several short trails and 3 ponds or so. food was delicious, staff very helpful, and host/owner Christine very gracious. Saw two kinds of monkeys, a tapir, and tons of birds including 3 kinds of toucans, parrots, hummingbirds, and much more - all in less than 24 hours. Beautiful and relaxing. Next time, we will stay longer!

The bathrooms could have a private curtains as it had glass windows and someone can sneak and see us take a shower.

Pristine cottages with views of the stars and a 'bed and breakfast; kind of homely feel. The host was passionate about Costa Rican food, art, flora and fauna. This was evident all around the property. She spoke lovingly about the birds that would come to feed on bananas every day and we were able to experience this and were in awe! The host and her helpers were gracious enough to make a big vegetarian meal for us the night before we checked out and even offered to pack it for us for our trip. We would like to appreciate ------- in particular for her vibrant personality and how she took care of our group at dinner and breakfast.

Included breakfast was good. Made to order. My paid dinner was the chicken option, it was a bit dry and average.

The staff and owner were so kind. She alerted us to monkey sightings and held my bags while I adventured (after check out) The property was lovely and the rooms are clean and each has a nice view of the green jungles of CR. Location is close Tenorio National Park.

Nice lodge surrounded by a beautiful well maintained garden. In front of the restaurant is a viewing platform from where you can observe the birds visiting the feeding station. We also really enjoyed dinner, well prepared food served by friendy staff.

    Nothing.

This is the second time that I went to Costa Rica. This year for 23 days and last year for 24 days. This is far the best place I ever stayed in Costa Rica.I can't express how wonderful the owner Cristine is.She is a wonderful host but especially she is the nicest and kindness person I met in Costa Rica. She is devoted to the animals and she buys 1700 bananas a week to feed all the animals on her property. from all kind of birds like the Toucan to the rare Tapir. I spent $350.00 at Corcovado National Park, stayed overnight and just saw the elusive Tapir early in the morning and never got a nice picture. Here she has them coming in the morning and a night. Here you can see all the animals up close, instead of spending all that money in the parks. And what can I say about the large bungalow that you stay with all the large windows looking at your very large deck. You also have 2 Jacuzzi on the property and seven hectares of trails.Breakfast is wonderful and so is the dinner if you wish to eat there. I would consider this Heaven on Earth, peaceful and relaxing. I promised myself that I wouldn't come back to Costa Rica for the many bad adventures that you get by traveling by yourself, but after finding this gem and Cristine I promised her that I am coming next year here and staying at least a week. Trust me if you stay here I guarantee that you won't regret it. Cristine thank you and until I see you again Pura Vida!!!!

Our bed was extremely firm, and our coffee maker did not work. Also, hot tubs need to be at 101 - 102 F. That was it! No big deal. The only other thing I could suggest is maybe advising people to wear closed toe shoes only. Long pants and boots in the jungle are a must. Never sandals in the grass… and bug spray EVERYDAY.

AMAZING AMAZING PLACE! We absolutely loved it and Christine is the absolute best. Breakfast is wonderful… and the birds! Oh my! The wild birds! Christine has created a refuge for animals. We got to see a Tapir and a Sloth right there at the lodge.
