We enjoyed our stay at the Tee-K lodge as a family of 4 which occupied 2 connecting rooms. We especially enjoyed the pool area which was tranquil and lovely, as well as the breakfast, which was excellent with some french specialties. The owner was very nice and welcoming. Overall, a very peaceful and relaxing stay. 15 minutes drive from Tamarindo beach. Highly recommended.

Everything was Perfect

Vey clean room, well maintained property. Lovely and exceptionally hospitable owners. Quiet,yet close to Tamarindo and the surrounding beaches- 10-14 min by car. Great breakfast- enjoyed the French crepes every morning, eggs, delicious coffee, homemade yogurt, fresh fruits, gallo pinto, almond cake and more. Nice pool, very refreshing for the hot weather.

My family enjoyed the Tee-K lodge very much. Everything from the start till the end was just perfect. The place is managed by a family from France. The pool is beautiful and clean. The room is big , beds are very comfortable, the AC is great and conveniently positioned in the room. The breakfast is very tasty, the French crepes are especially good! The location is great, very close to Tamarindo (11 minutes) but away from the crowds. Just perfect, everything. And we could have a late checkout, till 12pm. Thank you Arthur and your family!

We spent a whole week at Tee-k. We enjoyed every morning the amazing breakfast and the beautiful sounds in the garden at sunrise! Arthur and Claire prepared packed breakfast for us half of the mornings when we started the day early for trips farther away. We did have a car and made it very convenient with a short drive to beach.

Arthur and Claire were the most amazing hosts! So attentive, kind and hospitable! They spoiled us rotten with new baked goods and treats every day. We will never stay anywhere else next time we come to Costa Rica. Can’t recommend enough! You will love it. They really felt like family after 9 days. Also their home cooked breakfast and espresso are very good. The pool is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting under the stars after getting home each evening and looking at the moon. The pool, property and rooms are all very clean. Arthur and Claire came every day to tidy up our room and give us fresh towels. They even came when we left later in the afternoon. We never expected that and even felt bad, but that’s how personal and attentive they are. They truly made our stay in Costa Rica special. Thank you Arthur and Claire! :)

The property was spacious, gorgeous landscaping safe free parking space for our rented car , quiet , lovely hammocks and swimming pool , clean room and bathroom. The dining area was large overlooking the beautiful gardens and pool , large clean kitchen, hosts personal hygiene, special personal touches to the beautiful outdoor and indoor. The breakfast was served plenty of delicious fresh fruits home made baked goods and fresh yogurt. The best caring and friendly hosts we met on this trip . We were very lucky and grateful to find this wonderful place unfortunately we found them at end of our journey . We would definitely book a longer stay . This was the best value and location in Costa RicaTamarindo 🙏🏽 Thanks Arthur and Claire , for picking us up when we arrived and taking time to drive us to our car rental office , we are very grateful for your generosity and hospitality. A true pleasure and honour to meet you both . Hope we will see you next winter in 2025 .

Beautifully appointed and clean room with comfortable sheets and bed, and lovely fluffy towels (bath and pool/beach). Incredible French style breakfast - an absolute highlight of the day! Lovely pool and garden area, and location is just ten minutes outside of Tamarindo, so perfectly away from the hustle and bustle. Very helpful and friendly staff

The owners of the house were so friendly and always smiling. With a rental car, their location was amazing for us ( I cannot advise how it would have been without the car ). Very easy check-in and check-out. The room was like a small apartment: very big, a lot of light, a small fridge, spotless both the room and the bathroom ( nice shampoo, conditioner and soap ). Delicious breakfast prepared freshly by the hosts. The pool was amazing, clean and we could use it late in the evening for relaxation. I hope we will be back soon!

Wifi was not good enough in the room

This was an exceptional stay! Everything in the hotel brand new & newly renovated. Our room wqs very clean and silent, breakfast was great next to the pool with delicious espresso. Claire and Arthur were great hosts, only focused our comfort. Location is also good, far enough from Tamarindo’s crowd but also close enough to drive, just 10 minutes away. We also asked them a taxi and in case you dont want to drive you can arrange taxi and they pick you from the door. We could not ask for more! Thank you:)

Lack of toiletries or cloths hangers. The kitchen didn't have any equipment of any kind. All round feeling of being run on a small budget. Breakfast felt cut back to bear minimum.

Nice pool, comfortable bed quiet location and gardens. Secure and gated. AC was quiet.

In one of our two rooms the shower drained so slowly only one person could take a shower every 10-12 hours. I’m sure the hostess will have fixed it by the time the next guest arrives, but it put a crimp in our stay.

Beautiful gated home in a good location. Just outside of our door was a nice garden and swimming pool. The breakfast was very good.

There is no soundproofing of rooms, you can hear a pin drop in the other room or worse. TV had no cable service. Air conditioner did not seem to work well, took many hours to reduce temp.

It would have been helpful if there was access to cups, forks, knifes, plates, etc, so that we didn't have to always eat out at a restaurant. To be fair, we didn't ask for them during our short stay, but it was an observation that would likely have been more of an issue if we had stayed longer in the area. The TV didn't work for us (because you need access to reliable wifi/Netflix account/a laptop to project to the screen; i.e. no "regular" tv channels), which was fine for the adults but the child was disappointed. Also, no ammenties like shampoo (a bar of soap and towels were provided) were available, although we did have our own. In comparison to the facilities provided at other places we stayed in CR, the price was a bit high in comparison, but still reasonable overall, and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you! (7.5/10).

The owners were lovely! Room was spacious, new and clean. Absolutely lovely grounds/pool. Safe (b&b is gated). Although the road to the b&b was bumpy (what roads aren't in CR?!), we liked that it wasn't located in the centre of Tamarindo (which we found to be far too busy). A simple breakfast that met our needs was provided.

same breakfast (had 2 options) every day, no fruit or other choices. while the property could turn into the most beautiful bed and breakfast with a good service, the new owners did not seem to use the full potential. our expectations based on the cost and reviews ( which were from a previous owner) were higher!
