The bathroom floor was overflooded every time we showered.

Loved the privacy of this apartment in the property and the fact that there is back a "back door" just for this apartment, which made it easier to get to my car which was parked at the front of the property. And although I had expected parking spaces inside the apartment lot, the area is pretty safe so I was not worried.

It's in a perfect location. Only 5 minutes walk to the main street. And without the noise of the cars and other tourists. It has everything we were looking for. A small apartment were we could cook, rest and hang out close to all the cool places of the town. The staff was very friendly! And the pool really clean.

Beautiful grounds, lush and natural, set the mood for a quiet, relaxing, private retreat from the noise of the town, which is a mere 3 minute walk. The beach is a 5 minute walk, yes just 5 minutes to the best swimming and surfing beach with lots of shade. The 'room' is just perfect. Its a full apartment with a full kitchen, gas stove with oven, full fridge, utensils, coffee pot, toaster, and blender. Powder room on first level with living area and a walk out onto a lovely patio overlooking the gardens and pool. 2nd floor has double bed and single, huge closets, built in safe, and massive bathroom. Ceiling fans and AC on both levels makes for comfort and escape from the heat outside. The pool area is lovely. Big enough for floating around chatting with other guests. Gets lots of shade in afternoon, and there are more than enough loungers and chairs for everyone. The owner and the staff are very kind, friendly, and professional people. They made us feel welcome and also left us alone to enjoy ourselves. At times it was like we had our own slice of heaven! Howler Monkeys hanging out in the trees above us, wildlife at night was fun to see as well. And the two cats that have made it home were pleasant and friendly. Anything you needed was provided. Any question answered quickly. If you needed your room cleaned, needed more matches for the stove etc you just asked. We can't express how lovely Tamarindo Blue was. We were there for 3 weeks. We cooked every day and enjoyed getting to know the local spices and dishes. We felt 100% safe and at home from day 1. If you are a person who wants that all inclusive gated pampered holiday this is not for you. If you are a person who loves to travel, experience the country, and take care of yourself than you can not go wrong here. Really really great. I am a picky traveler and have high standards and I was so happy there. And the value for the cost!!!! Amazing.

Staff were really helpful. I arrived early and they made every effort to make me comfortable and also to get my room ready before checking in time which I appreciated. The rooms were very clean, quiet and well equipped with AC both upstairs and downstairs.

The location of Blue Apartments was great. It was a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The pool was I really nice bonus at the end of the day after spending your time at the beach. Security was great. We were able to check in early and apartment was clean, comfortable and adorable.

We didn’t have hot water for the shower the second day we were there. We also would have appreciated a few kitchen amenities like salt and cooking oil.

The location was fantastic, within walking distance of the beach and far enough from the main road to maintain a quiet atmosphere at night. We enjoyed the opportunity to make our own breakfast and have our meal on the deck facing the beautiful garden and singing birds in the morning.

Couldn't think of a thing! Perfect quiet getaway! Everything was clean, clean, clean. The staff was professional, very accommodating and very friendly! the location is tastefully decorated and so easy to get to!

The staff was polite and personable. The pool was clean & delightful and the location was perfect, close to Everything! I loved the wifi and the cooling was very comfortable! Delightful place to stay and I will stay there again and recommend to others traveling to Tamarindo!

Some suggestions but not a blocker. I guess sanitary products like soap and shampoo could be provided, as well as some additional towels. I asked for a Filter for the coffee pod, and it was provided very quickly. Room cleaning was not offered proactively but then it was near Christmas and I understand the availability of staff could be difficult.

The environment of the accommodation is beautiful, cozy and quiet. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The outdoor area is comfortable and the pool is great to have. The location is perfect, close to the beach and to the main streets, but in a quiet neighbourhood surrounded by nature.

Regarding the apartment, there was nothing not to like

The apartment was great, as the surrounding areas such as the pool or even the small area behind connected to the kitchen. The staff was super nice and tge location was quite central too.
