Super cozy accommodation, with a wonderful breakfast and nice host. His recommendations for restaurants were a 10/10. We loved that the room came with a small kitchenette and fridge. It is a 10min walk to the nearest beach. We would come back any time.

A superb b&b oasis tucked away in the lovely town of Puerto Viejo. Martin and Monique (and Sam their impeccably well behaved dog) were welcoming and friendly and the perfect hosts in this laid back, quirky guest house. Decorated with exotic flowers, the artisanal breakfast was an exciting mix of fruit, freshly made smoothies and a different main item each day. The natural waterfall style pool was a central feature with it's gentle cascade. A welcome place to relax and cool down at the end of the day. Pool and beach towels were available and freshly laundered each day. The room with a balcony was well equipped with an integral kitchenette which enabled simple home cooking if desired. The hosts’ careful attention to detail did not go unnoticed with plentiful health products including bio-friendly liquid soaps, body wash, shampoos, sun lotion and mosquito spray for use during the stay. Just a few minutes walk from the main thoroughfare, and tucked away from the road, this is an ideal venue for the discerning couple to escape the general hubbub of this energetic coastal town

The room is very comfortable and cleanliness. The location is perfect, near the city center! Dominique and Matin are lovely hosts, they helped me with all the things that I asked for. Martin also prepared a very good breakfast for an extra charge. I really loved my days in Sueño Grande B&B and will definitely stay there again when I return to Puerto Viejo.

Nothing really, the room was quite basic but fine for our needs

The place was pretty with lovely natural pool setting. The room has a comfy bed and all the essentials I look for- air con , safe , coffee maker and fridge . The breakfast was lovely , including packed takeaway one last day when we had an early pick up. The host Martin was really helpful proving advice re local area , bike hire and bus timetable

Friendly owners, gave us good tips on what to do in the area. Clean spacious rooms. Hot shower. Excellent location. Able to park car outside the property. Could easily score 10... in 5 nights stay (we extended our stay by 1 night) our room wasnt cleaned even once. Personally, I dont like dark sheets and towels; Doesn't have to be white, but at least a light colour... shower could do with a good scrub to remove some mould. We had a gecko living in our room, which we wouldn't mind being in costa rica, but they are pretty loud at night.

The room ( suite) was very nice, the bed and pillow comfortable, it was very clean and with attention to details. Complementary products (soap, shampoo, coffee, chocolate) organic and the quality excellent. I Really enjoyed the stay. The location is very good. The AC worked well. Ps: im very fussy when it comes to accommodations : i would come back again.

Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. The B&B is far enough away from the main road, so you still can reach everything easily on foot but are not too much harassed by the noise of the nightlife. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

The area was a little noisy on Saturday night. If you are looking for quiet you might want to stay outside of town. However the music stopped by 1:30am, so didn’t disturb our sleep.

Lovely little property near the beach and the action in Puerto Viejo. Especially loved the pool and private balcony. Martin and Dominique were lovely hosts and very helpful. Our small kitchenette was enough to prepare simple meals and there is a place to leave rental bikes over night. Also appreciated that they had towels available to take to the beach as well as to use at the pool.

The location is perfect, short walk to the center of town and close to the beach! The owners Dominique and Martin are the best! They will give you all the info you need about Puerto Viejo and beyond(and more)! A very big plus is the pool where you can cool down! The rooms are nice and clean, and if need anything at all you can ask the owners. The breakfasts are the best!! Every day something different to eat and beautifully made, with the enjoyment of a good conversation with Martin and Dominique! Don’t look further, stay here!

A lovely little place, very private with only a few rooms, and in a brilliant location - just a short stroll to the beach and town. Dominique and Martin were amazing hosts and the breakfast was top notch, one of the best of my trip.

I liked the location and the calm and relax you can breath in this place. Dominique and Martin will make sure they do your stay perfect. The breakfast is also delicious and one of a kind, every day different and made with fresh ingridients. The pool is really great and you will have anything you need, from towels to a fridge with beverages and snacks at a very convinient price. The room was pristine and everything was perfect.
