Beautiful Oasis in San Jose, we got in at midnight and the security guard let us into our room. We checked in the next morning. Great place for late arrival from San Jose airport. The grounds are safe and spectacular! The breakfast I. The morning was delicious and authentic Costa Rican food with excellent coffe and fresh squeezed orange juice. Highly recommend “with you rental”service too. They picked us up from the airport at midnight and took us to our hotel and then picked us up from the hotel in the morning and drive us to the car rental.

For us, it was a little noisy. You could hear people walking above and talking outside/around. We were placed right next to the pool which a family decided to use (not quietly) at 6am. That being said, the remainder of the guests seemed respectful and we didn’t have many noise issues overnight. Also, we are aware that people rise early in Costa Rica so maybe we should have done so too and joined in with the pool party!!!!!

The staff were really friendly, esp Joseph who showed me the owl location and found an excellent beetle! Nice gardens to walk around which was fended off so safe even at night. Easy access to the airport (around 10 minutes with no traffic). Hotel was clean and well equipped. Free transfers which was very welcome. Breakfast was included too which was basic but good quality.

The staff will do everything to help out and ensure you have a confortable stay. They picked us up from the airport, booked our car rental, booked our rickets to visit the volcano and even lent us their uber account. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is good and well priced, tasty, varied and good quality. The restaurant, pool and garden area are pleasant and have a homey feel.

Far away from downtown but the purpose was for an early flight, so it is OK.

Free transportation to the airport, great customer service, game me a free to go Bfast since my flight was early in the morning. Hotel was comfortable and well decorated, the pool was a nice extra.

My wife and I arrived mid-day on a Sunday when the restaurant was closed. Isabella at the check-in counter approached the kitchen about offering us some lunch options which was very kind. We both enjoyed a grilled chicken salad. The next morning, the airport shuttle driver was delayed arriving to work due to traffic congestion. The receptionist that morning (didn't get her name) arranged for an Uber to take us to the airport at the hotel's expense. The grounds were lovely and quiet with lots of birds. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Tucked back from a main thorough fare, Hotel Robedal is a great location! 10 minutes from the airport in a garden setting with lovely landscaping, a nice swimming pool, and a really good breakfast and restaurant for dinner. Our daughter returned with a friend to end their Costa Rican holiday.

A very peaceful and lovely hotel in a busy area very close to the airport. I enjoyed both lunch and breakfast and walking around the grounds. I didn’t see the owls that live on the property but other people did.

What a hidden gem! I needed a place to crash and relax for the day/evening before an overnight flight, and I’m so glad I chose Robledal. Small and personal, close to the airport, adorable restaurant on site, and a beautiful pool/garden area - what more could you ask for? Everything was immaculately clean, and the staff were hard working and lovely. Would highly recommend!

My shuttle was a bit delayed picking me up, but these things happen.

The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. The hotel has a great garden with lots of trees and some owl nest boxes. They are conservation oriented which is important to me. They provide free shuttle service to and from the airport, and breakfast is included.
