It’s a bit tricky to find - make sure you pay attention to the directions. Not a negative really but pay attention more than other properties.

There truly are Macaw’s - and other wildlife. Beach access is nice. Good pool.

Before arrival contact the property for instructions how to get the keys and code. When we arrived the main gate was closed (there is no cellular connection and no reception). We were waiting near the main gate and the staff arrived after 5 min (I believe they saw us by cameras). then it was smooth check in.

Amazing location, clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. We saw macaw parrots in the morning ( the live there) while having coffee on the terrace. Walkable distance to the beach (1 min). Great value for the price.

The scenery was amazing, were able to see parrots, iguanas, monkeys from the pool! The beach was lovely to walk along and swim in! Felt safe, and had everything you needed!

Beachfront location. AC. Pool. There was an issue with the bathroom sink and they responded and fixed it quickly. Kitchen with basics for you to Cook. Awesome for fishing as it is right on the beach.

Photos seemed a bit enhanced. Pool wasn’t working. Shower head gave an electrical jolt.

Finding the place. We had to pay a taxi to lead us. Not being able to call someone who spoke any English. O

On site staff was only the a couple of hours a day but they were very helpful. In spite of the manager refusing to take our calls, we would have been glad to spend more time there.

There was a lot of LOUD construction (starting very early) as they are building more units very close to each other. Also, it was not comfortable to sit by the pool in my swimsuit as there were lots of construction guys all around it.

The bunglow is in a small grove of palm trees on the beach, so we tracked in sand and leaves. We would have really appreciated a broom to sweep the bunglow and the porch. There is only one bath towel provided p/person- not even handtowels, washclothes, or kitchen towels. I would suggest that you bring beach towels and a few extra wash clothes to use in either the bathrooms or the kitchen.

The location of McCaw Paradise is excellent! Our bunglow was beachfront in a beautiful stretch of beach. The neighborhood is quiet-no toursists, mostly local people, which we really liked. The small deck with chairs was great for early morning coffee and evening cocktails- while enjoying the nature and views of the ocean. There is a wonderful beachfront restaurant just a five minute walk away that we ate at twice- food and cocktails were great! We had our 15 year-old son who really liked to beach comb, collect and try to open coconuts, and swim in the ocean. We swam everyday- the surf was calm, but we stayed near the shore. The bunglow is exactly as described. We used the kitchen to cook breakfast every morning- so the dishes and pans were appreciated. AC worked great and the beds were comfortable and the linens clean. There are four Adirondack chairs on the porch, that we carried out to the beach- perfect!

The only thing we didnt like is the size of the cabins, it was a little small for my pleasure, but it was worthed.

A lot of things was good, so close to the beach, swimming was great, and the most excellent thing was the scenery, the views is so great. Great place to relax and see the amazing south Caribbean beaches.

A little corner of relaxation after a long drive. We had a great stay and spent hours watching the scarlet macaws flying and feeding in the trees above us. The location is also perfect for breaking up the journey before heading to Manuel Antonio National Park. I highly recommend taking the time to observe the wildlife among the trees!

The location is amazing here. Steps to the beach, which was my favorite part. The ocean is very gentle here, and the sunsets are beautiful. The beaches are a mix of sand and stone so I was very happy for my water shoes. I brought a floatie and floated in the water with gentle waves. There's also a nice clean pool that was quite busy but refreshing to get into. There is a shower by the pool that you can rinse off the salt water. Our room was lovely. We had a full fridge and private bathroom. The kitchen had a hot plate, coffee maker, rice cooker and microwave. Perfect for making our meals. Check-in was very simple and finding the place was also easy. The bed was king size and there was also air conditioning which was lovely. We felt very safe and secure and welcomed by the Costa Rican family that we met each day we were there. Parking was right beside our room. Very safe and secure.

Nicely furnished studio with comfortable bed, AC, kitchenette with multiple appliances, and small, clean pool. The highlight was being by the beach and seeing macaws and other birds in the tall trees on the property. Only negative was hearing truck air brakes from the nearby highway. Earplugs for light sleepers recommended.
