There were SO MANY mosquitoes in our room!! I don’t know if they were somehow coming up through the drain or if they got in when housekeeping came every day, but I LITERALLY killed 17 in a single hour and was constantly finding more. It made relaxing in our otherwise beautiful room very difficult.

This is a lovely hotel that matches the pictures. The pool is beautiful, and it's nice to have a bar on site. It's across the street from a fantastic Mexican restaurant and a supermarket, as well as a 5 min walk to the main strip where the beach and all the nightlife are. The front desk staff are incredibly lovely and helpful, and the beds are very comfortable.

Bring bug spray for the mosquitos in the morning and afternoon.

The room was very comfortable, we enjoyed the attached patio. We cooled off in the pool a couple of times a day! Hotel is very close to the heart of the action, but still like you are in an oasis because of the garden-like grounds.

The guy behind the bar had 'cantbebothered-itis' & a bad attitude. The shower was a bit rubbish but the comfy bed made up for it!

Breakfast poor, portions laughable on the ‘continental breakfast’ - one sausage cut in half + 1 small potato cut into 3 and 2 eggs, honestly thought they were playing a joke on us …but turns out that’s what they offered … the burritos were much better in size and taste however Room cleaned daily however stayed for 8 nights and only had bed changed once ok the last night… with the suncream and hot weather + significant number of ants that appeared over the day via the bathroom we felt it definitely needed changing much earlier, to be honest this would have made the stay much better.

Everything was good.

Room was good size.Bed was very comfortable. Shower good. Environment was excellent…quiet, peaceful, lots of mature landscape. An oasis! Staff very good….friendly, helpful. Breakfast very good. Great location….short walk to beach and main restaurant and shopping area. Great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Room was a bit dated, bathroom was very small. Could use some additional hooks for hanging towels/clothes to dry.

The property is a lovely little oasis within the bustling town of Tamarindo. Loved the pool area, bar/restaurant were decent. Bed/pillow very comfortable. Each room had a nice outdoor sitting area. Very close walk to the beach, great location in town.

Small Pool,too many noisy children in pool. The shower floor did not drain,so it was clogged,needed to be . paper dispenser very inconvenient and was hard to use. Water temperatures need to be fixed for the 1st 2 days. Too cold or too hot,was finally fixed. Street noise with big trucks .

Friendly staff, great location, walking distance to everything. Excellent breakfast included. They offer discounted prices on tours compared to prices in town, and I enjoyed the Snorkle & Kayak tour. They also have a partner restaurant called Ocean right by the beach where you get 20% off during your stay. Overall, an awesome experience!

Grounds were not swept of leaves and some dirty dishes were left all day near the pool

Very nice room, seemed new with nice facilities. For some, our location was a bit noisy with restaurants across the street but overall, liked the room. Attractive setting and pool. The ladies in the office were soo friendly and cheerful.

The villa was superb - clean, great facilities and really spacious. The location is fantastic, very central and yet feels like an oasis once you step inside.
