Stunning location! Beautiful jungle and wildlife all around and very peaceful to relax. The room was stylish and had everything that was needed. The bed/linens were extremely comfortable. We had great sleeps there! Keith & Joe were wonderful hosts. They cooked us breakfast each morning and it was a pleasure to chat to them. They instantly made us feel at home 😊 thank you.

Owners Keith and Joe were extrordinary hosts. Delicious homemade breakfasts. Lovely casita with a balcony to experience the site and sounds of howling monkeys, toucan, coatimundi, and other birds. They setup a couples massage right on our balcony and provided a togo breakfast on one of the days there. Their hospitality in this beautiful nature setting made our stay here memorable.

A stay with Keith & Joe and you're in Paradise. Just everything, in the smallest details, is perfect. The surrounding and view at Nature's Edge is stunning (flowers, trees, birds). The apartment is very tasteful and luxurious equipped. The joint part with pool, kitchen equipment is beautiful positioned en relaxed. Joe makes delicious breakfast while Keith makes good conversation and keeps your coffee cup filled up. It's truly a Paradise.

Natures Edge is an oasis in Costa Rica. The location is beyond incredible as you are quite literally on the edge. It is a small, only 4 casitas, and secluded and adults only accommodation should you be looking for that. The two owners have appointed the rooms well and their communication with guests is unparalleled. Breakfast is offered including take aways and is substantial. Look no further when you are in Uvita.

Relaxing amazing setting where you are on the edge of the jungle and can watch the wildlife from your balcony chairs or hammock. Very nicely laid out and well kept, beautiful pool, breakfast area, casitas were exceptional. Modern, comfortable, open, totally makes you feel like you are in a unique and special place.

I was a tad worried about the drive up to Natures Edge but the road was actually in good condition & very easy to navigate although very steep in places. Joe met us on arrival with a cheery smile and a tour through the casita. The view was spectacular! A large king sized bed sat in prime position to capitalise on the view. Fans kept the property cool and the terrace had some comfy rocking chairs to while away the hours. The pool area was lovely with sunbeds and umbrellas combined once again with spectacular views! Toucans called everywhere and scarlet macaws flew overhead. The ranchero, the communal cooking area was stocked with everything you needed to cook and we enjoyed some evenings in, enjoying the peace and tranquility. Joe cooked a delicious breakfast and Keith served. Everyday varied and Joe proved to be an outstanding pastry chef! He made some unique breakfasts including goats cheese and red pepper quiche. He was also adaptable to his guests. The serenity was wonderful.  The bed was super comfy with quality linens. A beautiful place to stay , hosted by a couple of fab guys. Natures Edge certainly deserves its continuous high scores.

All was perfect.

We liked everything. Keith and Joe are amazing hosts and all they do they do with their heart and complete dedication. They can take care of anything when asked and nothing is a problem to them. Keith can organize any tours, a restaurant booking, etc and Joe is a very talented cook. The villas are a dream. Beautiful inside and very well equipped. As there are only 4 villas, guests have lots of space and privicy. And the views are just wonderful. We could really relax and enjoy our stay. We saw tucans each day and they were very close to us. We can only recommend this amazing paradise. Thank you again, dear Keith and Joe and keep doing your amazing job. You rock!

absolutely nothing, everything was exceptional!

This place is Exceptional in every aspect, the rooms, the pool, the view, the facilities, your hosts Keith and Joe are tremendous hosts. We arrived a little early but our room was ready to go, Keith welcomed us on arrival and Joe gave us the lowdown on our room facilites and the pool and dining area. Our room "Heliconia" was situated overlooking the forrest and mountains and the view is simply breathtaking from the spacious Balcony! the room itself has been immaculately decorated and outfitted with everything you need and all is explained in great detail by Joe. The temperature at this elevation is perfect after having been down at sea level all day it makes all the difference, and simply negates the need for A/C in the evenings. you can simply leave your balcony door open (mosquito screen closed) at night and just let the sound of nature help you drift off to sleep! The pool area also has spectacular views overlooking the forrest and mountain area, the pool itself is actually a saltwater pool which we found amazing. no nasty chemicals involved! Breakfast here is tremendous with both Keith and Joe taking care of your every need and Joe was the expert cook behind a fresh, tasty and changing breakfast each morning. You can also have a good chat with them and other guests making it a very warm and personal experience for breakfast. Joe was also kind enough to deliver us a very tasty smoothie and Banana bread one morning as we left very early (05:45) for a tour one morning! During our stay just outside our room there was a Toucan that visited the tree right outside our room( it was even singing one eveing) and some Fiery billed Aricaris, even a group of howler monkeys in the trees, you truely feel right amongst nature up here away from the hustle and bustle of the main town Uvita. There is a reason this place was voted #1 in Costa Rica and you simply have to stay here to realise why! Without a doubt will stay here again when visiting Costa Rica...

We are currently staying at Nature’s Edge in Costa Rica, in the beautiful Heliconia house, and it is truly an incredible experience. The views are absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery and stunning landscapes surround us, creating a peaceful and awe-inspiring atmosphere. The hosts are warm and attentive, always ensuring that we feel comfortable and well taken care of. In the morning, we enjoy a delicious and fresh breakfast that is both filling and beautifully prepared—a perfect start to the day. The Heliconia house is beautifully decorated with a balcony with the most beautiful view. The bed is incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax. One of the highlights of our stay is the incredible wildlife we can observe right from the house. It feels magical to watch beautiful toucans perched in the trees just outside—they are truly a sight to behold and add to the unique charm of this place. Nature’s Edge is everything we hoped for and more, offering a perfect combination of comfort, beauty, and tranquility.

There was nothing lacking during my stay at Nature's Edge. Do heed their advice about needing a 4WD to navigate the mountain road!

If you're interested in having a beautiful mountain view, tasty home cooked breakfasts, comfortable bedding, and the convenience of being close to town, this is the spot! The owners go out of their way to make sure you are completely comfortable, including making delicious banana bread and a fruit smoothie for you when you can't make it to breakfast. Very peaceful surroundings, I enjoyed ending my day on the private deck in the hammock or rocking chairs, watching the toucans in the trees right beside the deck or the monkeys swinging in the canopy below. Nature's Edge is indeed "jungle chic", a little piece of paradise!

Everything! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It’s like a blend between luxury hotel, jungle camping, and a private villa. Natures Edge is more than just a hotel, it’s an experience. You fall asleep to the sound of the jungle all around you, and wake up to the most stunning sun rises, along with bird call and howler monkeys. The views over the jungle are incredible, and every morning we watched Toucans sit in a tree just metres from our balcony. At breakfast, hummingbirds hovered around the flowers beside the pool. There are only 4 bungalows, so it feels very private. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves for two days. And what can I say about Joe and Keith? The most lovely people. We spent part of our honeymoon here, and they decorated our bungalow and left Prosecco in the fridge. Just so lovely. They’ve also thought of everything here. From blue face flannels so white ones don’t get stained, to umbrellas. Those little touches have been really thought out. I honestly can’t recommend Nature’s Edge enough. It’s truly magical, and something quite unique. To be honest, you’d expect to pay twice what it costs. Amazing.

By far the best place we've been to. We fell asleep and woke up to the sounds of the jungle, surrounded by countless animals, simply paradise! The rooms are spacious, modern in design and very clean. The kitchen by the pool is fully equipped and dinners can be prepared. Keith and Joe the best hosts. From the first moment you feel welcome and at home. Taking care of recommendations for places to travel, beaches and restaurants. Joe's breakfast is homemade and very tasty. We couldn't have asked for a better place to end three weeks in Costa Rica.

Wow. Everything was just perfect. If we could give it 12 points, we would. It's not just the location and the view that make this stay so special, but above all the two hosts Joe and Keith. They are so attentive and pay attention to every little detail. At breakfast in the morning you feel like you're having breakfast with the family. You exchange ideas with other guests and the two of them had such valuable tips for us. On two days, they brought us super tasty smoothies and fresh banana bread as we were unable to take part in breakfast. They have even put together their own homepage with the menus of the surrounding restaurants and provided the cell phone numbers of the suppliers. There is so much more to the service. :) The houses are big enough and the shower is really a dream because you have the feeling of showering in the jungle. You are only separated from nature by a fly screen. The view from the balconies is a dream. In the middle of the complex there is a pool area with an outdoor kitchen, which can be used by all guests. Various birds like to fly around here in the morning. It was definitely our best accommodation in Costa Rica. We hope to come back again sometime. Thank you!

The drive up the mountain is challenging, but undoubtedly worth it !!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we departed, Joe and Keith at Nature's Edge Boutique Hotel made sure our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Upon entering our private “Casita”, aptly named “Haleconia,” we were greeted with a sense of warmth and personalization that set the tone for our entire stay. The space was not only impeccably clean but tastefully decorated, seamlessly blending luxury with the raw beauty of the jungle surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking view from our balcony. It truly felt like we were perched alone atop the mountain, with nothing but the sounds of wildlife echoing from near and far. The feeling of being secluded was complemented by the exceptional care and attention provided by our hosts, who went above and beyond to guarantee our comfort and happiness.. Keith & Joe gave us helpful tips and suggestions for exploring the area and even rearranging breakfast times to accommodate our adventures. Their dedication to making our stay memorable was evident in every detail. Communicating with them via WhatsApp felt like having a personal concierge at our fingertips, ready to assist us in real-time. The morning rituals at Nature's Edge were nothing short of delightful. With notes kept on our preferences, including whether we preferred juice, coffee, or both, every breakfast was tailored to our liking as well as attending to our food allergies. Breakfast, courtesy of the hosts, was truly an enjoyable experience. In summary, our time at Nature's Edge was more than just a getaway; it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. Joe and Keith's hospitality made us feel like we were staying with good friends, while still respecting our privacy.
