The hostel was very nice. It was clean with nice common areas. The breakfast was good. The location worked out well for us. It has cool art. Clearly the owners care about this hostel and the people who stay there. We used the transport service from the airport. We had no problem connecting with Javier the taxi driver at the airport. He is a very nice guy. We had a small emergency in the city and Ana was very kind when we contacted her for assistance. What can we say about Nativus Art hostel, great place, great people, great value:)

Perfect hostel for a female traveller in my 40's. Nice and quiet, very clean, facilities great, no complaints at all. Highly recommend to stay here. Ana is really nice and friendly.

One of the most expensive hostels I ever stayed at. But I feel the price is justified. Costa Rica is expensive, and the quality of the place is good. Aside from that, no real down sides.

Very nice hostal, owner is very kind, there is breakfast included. Not too much, but it's a good start of the day. Kitchen was good, had everything to cook. Fridge to store food. The bathroom and shower was nice and clean and had soap to wash your hands. Wifi was good, although I think I sometimes had some issues in the male dorm, since it was furthest from the wifi router. Supermarket is relatively close, a few blocks. City center is walkable, although a taxi might be faster. Quiet neighborhood. Safe at night.

Parking was different but different is not bad. By day 2, it was a breeze.

Anna was wonderful. She was very accommodating. Our flight was delayed twice and she allowed for a very late check in.

Could this be the best place to stay in San Jose? The best place in Costa Rica? This hostel is SO comfortable - the beds have privacy curtains and are like sleeping on a cloud! The manager is delightful - so kind, calm and full of advice. The building itself is simply gorgeous - full of art (as the name suggests) and a simple breakfast is served! It's a 20 minute walk to the centre of San Jose, but Uber is easy to call as well. I can't speak highly enough of this hostel - I simply loved it... I even considered staying an extra night in San Jose just to relax at the hotel a bit longer!

There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was on point and organized.

This place was much better than the pictures. Very clean, cozy, safe and the host was very kind and always willing to help or give advice on what to do in San Jose. The hostel has common areas to chill, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spot to exercise or practice yoga. There's a balcony with a view to either work remotely or read a book. Rooms are spacious, there are lockers. The location is very convenient to get around town. Truly exceptional.

We found it a bit far from the centre of town, but it's convenient if you just need a quiet night nearish the airport.

Something on the roof was loose, clanking sound constant for the entire night: could not sleep.

Loved my stay here! Grocery store at a walking distance, and super close to the bus station. I had to leave at 5am, before breakfast was served but they offered me breakfast in a bag so I can take it with me 🙏🏽 This hostel is spotless, 100% recommend!

There were no screens on the windows of the sleeping rooms. So when you open the windows on a hot night the mosquitoes fly in and bite. That's my only complaint about this hostel.

I've arrived late in the night, which I had to pay for extra 10$ without any notice beforehand.

Close to the city centre (15min walk), great breakfast, clean bathrooms. Best deal in the town :)

Not much to complain considering the price.

Very good price-quality ratio in my opinion. Facilities clean and in good condition. Very good public spaces (yoga room, good kitchen and balcony). Staff was nice and breakfast ok. Central park is very near which is nice. Quite near the center also. Enjoyed my stay here.
