Beautiful mountain resort with thermal baths and great activities

The food is typical buffet food. I would have liked to see more local food on the menu for dinner.

The hotel and the grounds are beautiful - complete with a spacious pool, a jacuzzi and 3 thermal pools. We booked the "superior" package, which included all of our meals and an activity for each night of our stay. We opted for the tubing and a 30 minute massage, both of which I can recommend. This package also includes drinks at the pool bar, where I highly recommend trying the mango-maracuya-orange smoothie. The live music at dinner was also fantastic, with some very talented local musicians. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

They offer all inclusive premium packages, however you have to pay additional 170$ for a tour that was supposed to be included . They rather you pay for tours then give you what’s included.

The room was outdated. The furniture was falling apart. Need some remodeling. The jacuzzi tub in the bathroom water had a such an awful smell like sewage water. Couldn’t use it like we wanted to. The main pool outside was just aight. And the thermal was not all that hot.

The view of the volcano from our bungalow was so beautiful. The staff were amazing. Food was delicious. Spa was everything.

The pool area is not too attractive and there are no spring waters in the hotel at all. What they have as spring waters in the hotel is more like a pond.

Everything else was horrible. The solar lights outside worked sometimes. So you had to walk in the dark. There is no phone in the room and they expect you to WhatsApp them with any requests. But our room didn’t have any WiFi. So we have to walk to reception for 3 days with requests. They kept saying that it will be fixed but it wasn’t. So we were without internet for 3 days. The rooms were really badly designed. With almost no lights so we have to use phone lights in the room to access the closet. The coffee maker wire was 1 ft long and would not reach the plug unless it was kept on the floor which was a challenge with a 18 month old. The bathrooms were always wet because the floor allowed for the water to be accumulated on the bathroom floor after a shower. I can go on for how bad this place is. Do your self a favor and avoid

lt has nothing to do with the property but it’s a bit far from the airport that’s all.

I liked that it had a little bit of everything, from different outdoor activities, to the pools and facials. The water tubing was so much fun, as well as the horse ride, zip lining etc. The staff everywhere were so kind and accommodating.

Room was terrible. We stayed in the 'family' room complex. 1 large room, 3 double beds (which is what we were expecting). However - only 1 overhead ceiling light that was extremely bright. No reading lights or bed lights - very tough when kids went to bed early. Not enough towels or pillows, and never supplied despite asking. Hairdryer broke. No parking available near the room. Terrible service regarding the room. Other rooms had slippers, robes, towels, and lights. Ours had none. Felt like an extremely rustic cabin, and not worth the price.

Food in the restaurant - tasty, convenient, great service, never had to wait. Pool bar - very nice, though limited hours. Gorgeous landscaping all over the facility.

Didn’t like the room very dark Bathroom was tiny Room had bugs and mosquitoes Asked them to change light bulb but was ignored. Awful rooms compared to the price they ask for. Would not recommend anyone to go to this resort. The rooms are very outdated and doesn’t give you a feel of staying in resort.

The staff working in restaurant were really nice and gave excellent service during all our meals.

THE PROPERTY: We had initially had booked 2 days but decided to add an extra day to be able to enjoy more of the property and get in a few excursions. It is marketed well. I paid $2180 for 3.5 days of all inclusive. That being said, we were pretty disappointed with what was actually available at the property. The main pool with the swim up bar was under construction so aside from 3 tiny mineral baths, there is no way to cool off during the day. There’s no bar access to these tiny pools. There are only 3 lawn chairs on the premises. There are really no other activities or entertainment available to guests on the property. There are a variety of fun excursions available to purchase, but you’re basically stuck in your room afterwards. There’s really nothing to do. Pros: everyone is friendly, like, really nice. There are plenty of excursions available to purchase (the river rafting was a lot of fun and worth the expense) Cons: there is literally nothing to do on the property so you have to spend more money to purchase excursions. Also, WiFi doesn’t work. ROOMS The bungalows are really cute but the rooms are a bit dated. The room we received was not the family room that we booked. We did not receive the welcome drink advertised on the booking. Our first morning we woke up and could not use the bathroom as there was no running water for a couple of hours. There has been a strange fishy odor coming from the middle kitchenette section. Not sure what is causing it but it’s unpleasantly there. Pros: great view of the volcano Cons: Not enough blankets, water pressure ; fishy odor; not the room shown on my booking; no welcome drinks as promised and woke up to an invoice for a water bottle and soda from the fridge that we did not take! Also, we purchased an all inclusive package so the soda and water should’ve been covered!! FOOD & BEVERAGE There is only one restaurant with specific times for meals.

Courteous staff (mostly); great views, but…..NO POOL!!! Read below

Be aware that this hotel is NOT All Inclusive. They state that the $222/ night charge includes all drinks, food and spa but in reality you get nothing but a room that is dated and in disrepair. The pool is uncomfortable and the hot springs are dirty and cold. Keep looking, do not stay here.
