There is minimal parking in front of the hotel but a large locked gate parking area just down the road which seemed secure. Our room had a step down in the floor just past the end of the bed which may be an issue for some people, especially at night.

Our stay was brief but the "historic" stone construction of the hotel was quite charming. The grounds were beautiful and pools very nice. The location was just off the main business street making for easy walks to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping areas. The room included a pre-ordered breakfast which was fine. The room rates were very reasonable. We met several friendly people around town.

It was quite dated, and there were lots of sofas and chairs in our bedroom for some reason. The bathroom was ridiculously warm!

We stayed here for 2 nights as a base for day trips from Jaco - it did the job for us and was good value and decent location. The staff were very helpful and secure parking is located a few metres from the hotel

Bathroom was showing a bit of wear but still clean. Lots of mosquitos but that's to be expected. Limited space for breakfast so a reservation was needed.

Breakfast was included and delicious. The staff was very friendly. Great location, walkable to beach and shops. They let us check in early too. They have multiple swimming pools of varying depths that were nice too.

Soo many families, but that's not the hotel fault. The breakfast could also be better. The outdoors bathroom close to the pool should be clean mote often.

The bed is amazing, definitely one of the best beds in Costa Rica. The jacuzzi is small but good enough. Very good customer service

We would liked to have known when the hot water heater was on. We didn't ask, so we aren't complaining.

The first room I had was very dark and on the road side which made me feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveller. The staff were quick to accommodate me to move me to another location on the property to ensure I was feeling comfortable.

The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The property is a great beach town property with a unique twist of a holland theme. Keep in mind when booking that you get what you pay for the rooms are clean but in need of some updates and repairs. They do the best with what they have and are focused on providing good service. If you are an avid traveller and appreciate a clean room, breakfast and great price then this is a great property to consider. The pool and common areas are the best parts of the property that are clean and well maintained.

Nothing, we loved it.

We only stayed in the hotel one night as we were transiting between the North and South pacific coasts of Costa Rica. We loved the hotel. It's small, overlooks several clean, warm(ish) pools, has some wildlife in the mature trees, and the rooms are spacious with a lovely spot to sit outside. The manager/porter was lovely, very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. Lots of loungers around the pool and a spotless environment. It's about 100m walk to the main road in Jaco with shops, bars, restaurants etc. My understanding is that Jaco can be a somewhat seedy holiday town, but this is an excellent hotel, well-run, secure, great value for money with supervised parking. I would recommend it unreservedly.

I already suggested the cleaning staff go lighter on the bleach (or use distilled vinegar or peroxide) on the floors, the room had a strong chlorine odor. I had to open the window and leave the door open to air it out. May have been partly due to them cleaning right before I checked in.

The property is immaculate, has a beautiful array of pools, spacious rooms with all the usual amenities: tv, AC, fridge, coffee pot, microwave, dishes, in-room safe, large bathroom, comfortable beds, friendly bilingual staff, and an excellent full breakfast.

This is a "rustic" small hotel off the main Jaco beach strip. Location was excellent, beach, restaurants, shops within walking distance. The hotel grounds are nice and the staff was exceptional and kind. Breakfast was great. Only downside is rooms are a little dated but you have ample space with EVERYTHING you need for a short stay. I would return.

Not much. Not sure I didnt like anything really. If I had to be critical, the shower wasnt the best but did the job.

Breakfast was really good but limited choice. Swimming pools are great! Room was really good, but two of the four pillows were awful. Perfect location too. Just a two min walk to the main strip but super quiet.

The wifi was terrible in our room, even close to the office no one in our group could connect unless we went to the dining area. We asked for help at the front desk only to be told "well it should be working" and never getting anything addressed. The rooms could have been cleaner, especially the floors, but it wasn't bad enough to complain about.

Breakfast was delicious and filling, location was perfectly close to everything downtown but felt separate and quiet away from the main road. Staff was very friendly. The pools were nice, the landscaping was beautiful, seeing the iguanas every day was fun.

The service I received throughout my stay was OUTSTANDING! Axel and Anthony were EXCEPTIONALLY courteous, helpful and just 2 really great human beings. This trip for me was literally a mental health getaway and I was so comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay here, I left rejuvenated and ready to take on the world again! Another thing that I noted and enjoyed was that there was a mix of foreign and local (Costa Rican) guests staying in the hotel throughout my stay and all were treated equally (something I've observed is not always the same in my travels). The owner came in during breakfast some mornings and made a point of greeting everyone and asking how our stay was going (EXCELLENT). I'd definitely return to stay here again!
