Our room was very noisy, to be expected because it was right in the front of the hotel. The shower head only had three streams of water coming out.

On arrival, my heart sank when i saw the room, nothing like the pictures. After a visit back to the front desk, the receptionist said the owner agreed to change the room. We ended up with one of the rooms from the pictures and i was happy again. Bathroom was small with no counter for personal items. Wooden floors were creaky. Didn't like that we had to get the receptionist to open the side gate for parking each time we arrived or left, but happy there was some off street parking. The room overlooked the main road and was very noisy through the night, that was not a problem for me.

Although it is an older 2 storey board building that had seen better days, i did like the character of it. Room was very spacious, loved the kitchen area (although we didn't cook). Adequately furnished with dining table, private balcony overlooking the street etc. Comfortable beds and a/c. Walking distance to restaurants, beaches, supermarkets and activities etc.

No problem with the property. Could have done without Room 4 playing loud music and smoking something herbal all afternoon/evening by the pool.

Swimming pool PH was definitely above levels, my daughters and some other friends got skin rashes both days after swimming in it

There is no drinkable tap water (we asked about it) so you have to buy some bottles for yourself.

We had a big room with two big comfortable beds, AC and a kitchen - very nice staying in a great location. The staff was very kind.

Room was quite dark, almost no natural light as the windows look onto a wall and construction site fence.

Nice pool, kitchen in our room was good and dishes and utensils to cook.

It is on a noisy street

It is a good location at Puerto Viejo. All is close by, like beach, restaurants, shops. The bakery right next to it is also a plus. The staff was really friendly

spacious room and cleaned, wide lounge for relax and reading a book. Swimming pool. all day coffee and teas. Each room has balcony table and chairs. Only problem is the car noise surrounding hotel. There was a small road left side of hotel. There was a property to keep driving a car. Also hotel is the located on main road. When I sit an 2nd floor lounge, i can't watch movie on my computer due to traffic noise. This hotel provides paid breakfast but I haven't see any clients in the morning time except my check in date. I enjoyed to stay at restaurant and lounge but can't stay for long after sun set due to mosquitos (Feb)

Location, location, location. It was a block from the city, next door to a very nice bakery. close to many restaurants, bars, and the beach. they had a very nice pool, and the staff were all very helpful, and nice. There is a great deck to chill

Saturday night Feb 17th, for some reason, around 2am very loud music started, it sounded like a big concert. Something was happening at the beach or city center. It awakened my toddler and affected our night.

Location is perfect, few steps from the beach and city center. Restaurant wall to wall. Very clean, rooms are great and bed comfortable.

There is definitely a termite problem at the hotel. I was constantly sweeping up the sawdust off the floor and on the bed that was falling from the ceiling, due to the termites eating away.

We liked the pool and location of the hotel.

Walls are thin. My room was on first floor and any time people walking upstairs we could here steps loudly inside our rooms. A lot of noise from the street enters the rooms. But I am a heavy sleeper.

Rooms were comfy and very clean. Pool area is great to enjoy with family, friends and partners. Staff was great, speaking spanish and english. They know the area and gave us important recommendations.
