If you're looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay, La Perlita Hostal is an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, the host's kindness and hospitality made me feel right at home. They go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable experience. One of the standout highlights was the amazing breakfast—fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start the day! Every bite was a delight, and it truly showcased the care and attention to detail that makes this place special.

There was a bit of noise on the roof at times, it was hardly a major issue and didn’t take away from the overall charm of the place.

The internet only worked in kitchen areas

This is a bit different to the usual, having a cabin vibe in the main garden of the property. No AC, but the ceiling fan works adequately. Shower and bath room are good. Easy access to Jaco and beach, restaurants and bars etc a 5 minute walk away. Lovely pool and seating area is available and the owner offers breakfast at a small additional charge. Small but secure parking area for 3 cars.

The compact cabin vibe may not suit for longer stays, but 1 night suited us fine.

The property is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the streets, yet it's within walking distance to the town center. The hosts are wonderful; they speak enough English to communicate effectively and are extremely helpful, taking great care of the property. There is air conditioning in the room, which makes it very comfortable. I truly appreciate the kindness of the hosts and wish them all the best in their endeavors! Additionally, breakfast was generous and served on large plates.

Spacious ,clean and good location

I took the casita nested in the lush garden. It's at the same time secluded, but close to the mai street and all its offers.

This is a wonderful little nook that served us well. We were driving by through the coast on our way to San José and decided to stop in Jaco. It was a room with 3 twin (single) beds. Just enough for crashing the night. Not sure if it will be good for more than a couple of nights since with bags and everything it could get a bit crammed. But it was perfect for our impromptu beach day. The breakfast was delicious and super close to the beach.

No windows, just mosquito nets, a bit noisy and humid inside the cabin.

Good location, pretty nice property with a pool. Clean apartment with a big shower and a functional kitchen.

There was no salt, pepper or any other essential in the kitchen. The hosts live in the upper apartment and are policing quite a lot, which is okay, but feels kind of controlling. They told us to remove the towels from the gate on the windows because “there were other guests”, in a beach location… come on. Be aware that at 7:00 am you’ll wake up due to the noise on the upper floor.

The host was lovely, the location superb, the facilities overall really good.

Sadly the bed was beyond uncomfortable it was terrible. Shame as everything else was a tick.

Owner was super helpful and the apartment was huge. Plenty of equipment for self catering and aircon in the bedrooms. Parking

Very friendly host, even thinking of equipping the fridge with wine. Very spacious room, airy and spotless.
