Nothing really to complain about…except small things like availability of pool towels or rather no tickets provided at check-in.

The breathtaking location. Views from the room, restaurant, bar and pool areas. Unbeatable. The friendly service/staff at the restaurant/bar. Choice at breakfast and service was excellent.

The rooms are basic. Big, but very minimal, basic bathroom toiletries, paper cups for coffee. Not what we expected for the price. The pool could be an asset but the general area is tired and needs updating. For that reason we didn't use it. Breakfast is also basic, especially compared to what we had at the 3 other CR hotels we stayed in.

Location is excellent, very close to the nearby shops and restaurants and a quick hotel shuttle, or public bus to the beach. Staff were lovely as in all of CR.

Good location, able to walk to restaurants. Short drive to Manuel Antonio reserve. Nice breakfast included, pool was good. Basic room, fab view and good air con.

The room was spacious and had an amazing view! But the water in the shower had low pressure, and it would be great if there were extra blankets in the room.

The staff was super welcoming, the view and location are great. I liked the activities that the hotel offered, super high quality. The pool is amazing, the restaurant is nice and also the restaurants around the hotel are excellent.

It could do with some maintenance in places. It’s a bit tired e.g. tiles falling off the pool, water pressure in showers poor, coat of paint here and there.

The position of the hotel is the best in town. The view across the pool and out over the coast is unbeatable.

There was an issue with the payment process. For the first time, we encountered a situation where payment wasn’t processed automatically through Booking but instead required an external link. At first, we thought it might be a scam, especially after our card was declined five times. The hotel itself isn’t new, but everything is very clean. There’s no kettle in the room. The shower has only a rainfall showerhead, which was sometimes inconvenient if you didn’t want to get your head wet.

The hotel has a lush, well-maintained green area—it feels like you’re in a tropical jungle, surrounded by flowers and vibrant greenery. The view from the room is amazing, and huge parrots often fly by. The breakfast is great, with a stunning view of the bay

The rooms are sparse. Had to use a plastic balcony chair to sit on! Coffee making facilities have cardboard cups! Can you believe it in such an expensive hotel. Breakfast was poor for an expensive hotel.

Lighting in the room was not very good. Shuttle service to beach from hotel was very late. Dinner choices and preparation were not impressive.

The hotel constantly plays loud music in the restaurant, at the bar next to the restaurant and at the pool bar, all the spaces are located next to each other and in many places in the restaurant, by the pool and in the garden different music from 3 places is mixed at the same time. The staff was notified about this, but they did not change anything. This is unnecessary noise... I would recommend playing the same music from one place, preferably quiet, so as not to disturb the guests who just want to relax or just chat with each other....

beautiful location, amazing view, great infinity panoramic pool, excellent food. The hotel provides various interesting trips and activities, and a shuttle bus to the main beach is also convenient.

We had a big shower in the bathroom, that was nice, but the room was dark and slippery floor. I didn't like that the sink was outside of the bathroom, located in the room. That was strange.

Excellent service in the room and in the restaurant. Very friendly environment. We were in the Premier Ocean Garden View Room, the room was spacious and bright, with a terrace to the garden, and excellent view to the ocean. Big relaxation area and enough open shelves for our staff. The breakfast was amazing.

As many people also noted, the amenities don’t match the setting. The room and balcony were very spacious, but the room is spartan—not minimalist chic—just very bare bones, with very little storage space. If you are expecting plush towels and lovely soaps and shampoos, you will be disappointed. The toughest part was the mattress. I like a very firm mattress, but mine was rock hard. If you prefer a softer mattress, that might be a problem. Also, some people may have difficulty with the various steps and that the hotel sits on a short, but steep, hill. Lastly, I had reserved a room with a King-size bed. We were given 2 queens, and I was so bleary-eyed from the drive that I had unpacked by the time I realized it. Overall, people will have to decide between the lack of polish and the amazing views.

The setting and location is great, with a short walk to several very good restaurants (Hola Indian, Emilio’s Cafe, La Lambretta, Samui Thai), pharmacy and supermarkets. As everyone notes, the setting is spectacular, with amazing views of the Pacific, forest and sunrise/sunsets. The view from our room was expansive and beautiful. The staff is very warm and helpful. Breakfast is good, with plenty of healthy options.

Although the location brings a wonderful view, access to the beach is difficult (the hotel provides a shuttle to Espadilla beach on a timetable, with 4 different hours - to go - and 4 to return). The shower lacks water pressure.

The hotel is located atop a hill, making a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean. We have some of the most amazing sunset views ever. The breakfast was excellent (the atmosphere, the view, the food, and important to mention: the constant visits of monkeys to disturb the waiters and entertain the tourists). The Mediterranean architecture is beautiful and the oceanfront room was top!

The view over the bay and Manuel Antonio beach is astonishing, also from the nice hotel rooms. Very appealing open restaurant. Just a great high end place to stay when visiting the park.

Our toilet in the room did not work correctly/often would not flush. We called several times to have it fixed.

The internet connection at our room didnt work. But at the restaurant/reception it worked great.

Breakfast is included but then if you want an espresso or a cappuccino you have to pay them separately, which for the price point of the hotel is ridiculous. Same with welcome drinks, which were non-alcoholic only (it’s a fruit juice, you can’t even choose what you want). They aim to be a fancy hotel but we believed the level of service was not high enough for the price point.

Room was very large and clean, facing the gorgeous Manuel Antonio bay (which we could not enjoy much due to the weather, but that’s not the hotel fault). The hotel is in a unique position and the facility is beautiful, surrounded by nature and animals (a lot of monkeys in the morning) but to be honest we would have expected a little more attentive service given the price.

Slightly old bathroom, staff struggled with Gluten free requests at times.

Amazing view from the room and the restaurant. Shuttle bus to the national park was great and not long. Room was clean and bed was nice. Could watch macaws and monkeys from the balcony.

It's not really a luxury hotel. The rooms are actually quite basic. For example, the paper cups for coffee in the room. There was no shower gel supplied (only shampoo). There was no bottled water in the room. Nothing terrible, but when you consider the price we paid, the rooms are not special and should be better at this price.
