I had a very nice stay at Isla Verde. The hotel has great facilities and enjoys good location, with very quiet rooms. Upon my arrival, I was offered a room upgrade which was a nice surprise. It is also important to mention how nice was the reception staff, always ready to help and provide all assistance possible for all the questions and requests I had. Definitely recommended!

I thought the hotel would have a little more green space based on the pictures, but it was minimal. However, it was nice to sit in the area with the plants and unwind after traveling and while waiting for my room. I had a nice stay for my first night in the country.

The location was good because as a US citizen in the country for the first time, I appreciated being situated near the Embassy as I adjusted to the area. My room was basic, but fine, and the breakfast was delicious. If you like walking, the neighborhood is very walkable with lots of parks and a shopping center nearby with a food court. The street the hotel faces is quite busy, but I was able to secure a parking space right in front even after leaving and coming back later in the evening. The staff was very helpful, and held my bag when I arrived early, but the room was not ready.

We stayed here for our first night, before heading to the Caribbean side the next day - it was about 35mins from the airport with traffic. They made us feel super welcome and the room is good value for money. They have parking spaces available for guests and an Asian style restaurant that we tried for dinner which was good! Lots to choose from. I definitely would recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay either arriving to Costa Rica or departing !

A comfortable and really clean facility. The personnel at the Front Desk really friendly and courteous. The call me by my name, making feel as the only guest. I ate a fresh and delicious meal at the Chinese Restaurant at the hotel. I have a parking space next to the main entrance, really convenient. The breakfast provided was good and enough for brunch and their service was good.
