Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandHost was great, but one evening had a quite loud party, which was impacting our nature experience.
Great experience with the glamping cupola, kitchen access with monkeys literally having a breakfast with you.

United StatesOur check-in was slow due to an internet issue, but we got a discount. The bed could have been a bit more firm. The tire path from our shipping container room could use a hand rail or at least better drainage and more gravel filling.
I loved the private outdoor shower (open to the sky, but attached to the room). The balcony with comfortable hammock was great, too. The pools are nice, but we weren’t there quite long enough to take advantage when it was warmer. The outdoor cooking area is also nice. It’s a very unique place to stay. My husband was amused by the music and singing (“karaoke”) that lasted many hours on Saturday.

CanadaThe dome is a little far from restaurants (which is nice to feel a bit remote) and the beach, especially in rainy season, you want to plan on driving or using taxis. Payment was cash only for me which added an extra step to track down an ATM and added some service fees so keep that in mind!
The Dome was super fun and cozy to stay in! the area was pretty quiet and I almost felt like I had the place to myself. The pool area is a great place to relax with great views! The host was very responsive and helpful planning activities during my stay!

GermanySome of items are falling apart , this facility in good hands would be nice. But you see a lot of small things which are no idea why left there . Some old plants etc. swimming pools are not very clean. You have a feeling that this is just business to get money from you lacking love and care. One day we didn’t have water at all in the morning. It’s fine to stay there for one night. But for more nights I would definitely look for something better.

United KingdomGreat quirky property with gorgeous views and lovely rooms. Be prepared to climb uphill with your luggage to reach your room/ the pool/ kitchen. Host was lovely and responds very quickly to messages. Room was idyllic- particularly loved the outdoor shower The pools are cool although, could have done with a clean at the bottom

BelgiumThe bed is hugely squeeky and makes noice everytime you turn around. Matras should probably be replaced. For Some reason, there is a bureau chair in the room, which is also extremely dirty. Also the hammock should be washed. We had only 1 wine glass instead of 2
Nice view, good location. Shower is fun being outside. Service and hosts are great and very helpful

United KingdomThe only thing that didn't suit me so well was the location because I didn't have a car so it meant it was more difficult for me to reach shops/restaurant.
There is great attention to detail on the glamping pods. The finish is really great and it was well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom and shower was great. I had visits from a few lizards including an Iguana and a Gecko. You can see wildlife from the balcony. It's very relaxing to be immersed in the trees with the sounds of nature.

United StatesThe hike up to our room with luggage in hot weather was not great. 😅 but, worth it!
We loved the location, removed from Quepos just a bit so it was quiet, but still close to all amenities.

CanadaThe stairway to #1 could of been lit better at night. It was a quite steep stairway, not recommended for anyone with ANY mobility issues
Breakfast? Location was great nicely set back from main roads, which made it fairly quiet.

SwitzerlandA bit far from the city and the beach. You need a car to reach the city, closest restaurant or supermarket. It is not a 5 stars place.
Original place in the middle of the jungle. We saw a lot of monkeys crossing our balcony. The host was very nice and pleasant.

GermanyA chair inside the dome would be good and some hangers to hang stuff would also be nice. But except for that we had a nice stay and the price-value ratio is good.
Clean area, nice idea with the dooms. Nice outdoor area (terrace). Staff very friendly, especially the guy from the night shift

United StatesI felt the cleanliness could have been better. Also, the reception area/owner's cottage would have loud music on every night which was annoying . There was no room service every day which I guess is understandable since this is "glamping".
Quirky and cool room. Particularly the "open air" shower which is rather fun when it is also raining.

BrazilJust some details as a place to hang clothes, and the hot water that didn't work in my room for 2 days.
Great hotel, very authentic with a stunning forest view, and very nice swimming pool (handcrafted). Good service, despite not offering breakfast. Marjorie was very nice, and the owner is a nice Italian, always in a good mood and available!

ItalyWell, our "igloo" was very cute, and big, and special....but no bathroom. The bathroom is nice and private just for our room but is external to the room, not connected. No big deal in nice weather. We got 2 days of heavy rain.....to go, in the night to the bathroom under heavy rain was a nightmare. You are back in the room completely wet...and the room become super wet and humid too. The air circulation in the "igloo" is not enough the avoid humidity in the rainy weather. So do not get this room if yougo there in rainy season....the other 2 "igloo style" rooms have bathroom inside.
The place has a very good location, of course if you do have a car. It is s quite isolated but no far from main road. The rooms are only 5, two are kind of "igloo" shape, and a 3th of the same type is being buit when we were there....then the place has 2 normal rooms. There is not a normal swimming pool but a series of 3/4 small swimming pools (jacuzzi type....but bigger than a jacuzzi and smaller than a small swimming pool) connected and the effect is supercool...very very nice. The rooms are nice and the igloo we were in had many nice point and some bad points. Anyway it was original. I think will be great in good season. We were there under rain and that kind of room revealed some issues when there is heavy rain. The owner-manager is a very nice man, super nice and friendly. He is doing a good job, and with some adjustments I think the place will be really nice

United StatesA little difficult to get up the stairs and slippery when it rains. Not suitable for people with disabilities or older people. We had lots of bugs and the bathroom door was glass facing the bedroom so there was no privacy.
The owner and all the people that work here are super nice. The room was extremely clean and the pool was super cool. The shower was so awesome. Showering it the middle of a storm was fantastic.
