The breakfast, room and pool were all excellent. Our welcome and care from the owner Daniel and his daughter Daniella was sweet and caring and we were beautifully looked after. Daniella speaks excellent English. The room and bathroom were comfortable and very clean.

I stayed here before back in 2018 and returned for the same reason: the price. It’s one of the cheaper options in Manuel Antonio, and while the value is fair, the low cost does show in the quality. The room was very basic—just a bed and a freestanding fridge, nothing more. WiFi didn’t work in the room, which was a bit frustrating. The location is okay. You’ll need a cab or bus to get to the national park, but there are bars and restaurants within walking distance. On the bright side, breakfast was very good, and the person serving it was extremely kind and polite. Overall, it’s not great—but not bad either. If you’re on a budget, it’s worth considering among the higher-priced options in the area.

I would have loved a lamp on the nightstand and access to a kettle/microwave to make tea...just a few basics that would have made it even better.

My only issue was I couldn't get the TV remote working and the TV working. The girl at the front was not versed with how to work the remote. Was not a major factor due to the fact that I was fishing most of the time and totally exhausted when I got back to my room.

The breakfast options are somewhat basic and portions are relatively small.

The property couldn't be more centrally located than it is. The rooms are nice size and have good air conditioning. There is a pool area for guests.

Not necessarily a complaint, but be warned that the budget triple is practically a closet. Much smaller than expected but we still had a good and comfortable stay. Our TV did not work.

Staff was incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming (though if you are not a Spanish speaker, be warned they do not speak English). I felt right at home! Pool area and courtyard were beautiful and we even saw a monkey at breakfast! Our room was clean.

The room in the reservation pictures looked like it has a balcony while ours did not have one.

A good part in the équipement in the room felt a bit aged, the room was very dark, not very well insulated. It was hard to receive the WiFi from the room.

We got very cold at night with the AC on (but too humid without it) so an extra thin blanket in addition to the sheet would have been welcome. Only one glass of juice allowed at breakfast- felt a bit stingy as we weren't coffee drinkers which was unlimited. WiFi connectivity was poor in our room. The hob in the room didn't work but luckily we found out before we bought any food to cook on it.

We got an upgraded room which was excellent for the price we paid, it had a fridge/freezer and microwave which was great to have and was well decorated. Nice view over the jungle from the balcony and the general feel of the hotel was nicer than the photos suggest. AC worked well. 30 min walk to the closest beach (though down a very steep hill!) and a 1 min walk to a well-stocked supermarket and the bus running regularly between Quepos and the national park.

There was a discrepancy between the room which I booked and the room which I was offered and it made the check in a bit eventful and disappointing. The photos assigned to the room were misleading, eventually booking refunded me a small amount for the room.

The staff on both shifts were very friendly and approachable and this compensated much for other inconveniences. The hotel is nicely positioned between MA beach/park and Quepos, close to cafes and restaurants. It is a cosy place with a nice layout. The room was small, but comfortable. It's nice that they have a swimming pool.

It is not a flashy but what it is a well staffed and maintained hotel that felt authentically as if you were staying with a Costa Rican local. It was not what I expected but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were fantastic and the Costa Rican breakfast was just right.

We feel conflicted about the monkeys that came in at breakfast. While it was cool to see we thought tourists should be discouraged from feeding wildlife

It felt a bit enclosed with no views of the surrounding countryside or sea.

Friendly staff and a good central location. The small pool is good for a cooling dip on a hot day and the pool table provides entertainment in the evenings.

Some people did complain of a noise, my kid made At 7.30 in morning. Naighbour room had some activites long in a night.... Not so insulated rooms. No windows in a room, and ants..
