The lodges are very nice and comfortable, giving the feeling of being right in the middle of the jungle. It’s close to the beach and it have a great Italian restaurant with excellent pizzas. We really enjoyed our stay.

I liked everything and would not hesitate to come back. Only thing that goes for the area during rainy season is that we needed a bit hangers to dry our clothes.

It was much nicer than the rating and the pics. We loved the bungalow and the jungle vibe. The staff was present and super helpful when we needed them.

The restaurant was not working at the time of our stay, so we had to go outside for dinner. There is no direct access to the beach, you have to walk around some neighbors houses in order to get the beach.

The place was very nice and full of nature. The room was super cool and pretty. The pool had the perfect temperature and the breakfast was good.

The hosts, Paolo and Victoria were so incredibly nice and hospitable! The space was beautiful and the nature and easy walk to the beach were amazing. All around excellent stay and would highly recommend!

- The pool area could be taken care a bit more (not really clean and really old chairs) - There were a lot of small ants in the room but it is to be expected when booking something next to the nature and we got used to it and in the end it didn’t bother us, just be careful not to leave open food (chips etc) in the room

The property was pretty and loved the agoutis. The beach was paradise. Breakfast was good. We stayed in one of the bungalows. It definitely could use a refresh, even just paint the walls. The room had a weird urine like smell that was pretty gross. Beds were comfortable though.

Shower facilities are not perfect but team helpful to solve the pressure-, hot-, and cold water issues. Could not see the floor of the pool so needed some more regular cleaning I suppose.

With 8 small houses - well spread around - a quit, private and relaxed property. Excellent location to reach within 5 minutes walking the quit- and best part of Playa Chiquita. The property also offers a free breakfast at the location. Furthermore by walking a short distance restaurants and supermarkets can be reached and Puerto Viejo within 10 minutes by car. Good wifi.

The bedding tho very clean looks due for renewal as it was a little faded. A minor point but it would make that first impression even better.

The location within a 3 minute walk to the beach was excellent. The pool was very clean. The gardens were lovely with many birds, butterflies, iguanas and Agoutis. There are 3/4 excellent restaurants within a 2 minute walk and a few sodas for coffee and snacks all within easy walking distance. Lucia the receptionist was very friendly and helpful with advice about beaches and tours in the area. The on site restaurant is excellent for pizza.

The Cabins are spacious and beautiful. The restaurant was great. The wildlife was abundant (monkeys, frogs, agoutis, lots of birds.) And the flora/ landscaping was varied and beautiful as well.

Lovely accommodation with very comfortable bed, quiet jungle surroundings, nice kitchen, set up, and good air conditioning. It was nice having a covered outside porch. Included breakfast was great. The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Are they highly recommend this place.

Everything was great 5star. Able to see wildlife and the jungle right from the bungalow. Monkeys, Sloths, Iguanas, and many birds. With a long lens (trees are tall) we got some great photos of Green Macaws as well. Staff was perfect and very attentive. We lacked for nothing.

Beautiful bungalow with secure access to the beach. Vicki and Paolo were incredibly gracious and accommodating hosts. Loved the full kitchen and outside table for meals immersed in the jungle. Felt safe and secure at night. Beds were comfortable, A/C worked great, and breakfast was fantastic! Loved their cute kitties too.

Too much noise, there was a construction next to our bungalow which make it hard to get proper rest. The laborers in the construction site were very noisy.

Privacy of the bungalow is a plus. The staff and owners are very welcoming. The restaurant serves exquisite Italian food.

Nothing springs to mind!

It is set in the most lush jungle gardens with 3 other bungalows. Small pool available for cooling off. Delicious breakfast dropped to your verandah in the morning so you can enjoy your breakfast while watching Agoutis, hummingbirds and parrots. There is a walkway to the beach which takes less than 10 minutes (it took us longer as we saw Monkeys and hundreds of land crabs! The restaurant is delicious and the owners are lovely. The local beach was my favourite out of all of them around Puerto Viejo (and also super quiet) but I also loved the beach in front of Spicy Coconut (which I recommend for lunch - great poke bowls). Even the shower pressure is ridiculously great! Will recommend to friends and clients (I am a travel agent!)
