The staff was soo nice. They were very respectful and kind. I had left my keys inside a couple of times accidently and they didn't hesitate to make sure to come and open my room in a timely matter all it took was a phone call. They were very helpful with toiletries and anything I needed. The place was VERY well located walking distance from main street. It was quiet and safe.

A nice little apartment with everything we we needed for a two night stay. The pool was great for morning and evening dips. It is within walking distance to the beach, shops, places to eat and bars. The staff were friendly.

Good ventilation in the unit, water pressure and heating worked great. Host was also very responsive when we needed help with the heater. Impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is (cutlery, appliances, kitchen ware), this will definitely be a good option for longer stays. Small families will also be comfortable here. Not too far from the main tourist street in Jaco too.

We would’ve liked to stay longer than two nights. Convenient to everywhere and grocery, panadería, beach. Well appointed kitchen.

Upgraded apartment gave our family lots of extra space to spread out. The area around was quiet and Jaco in general was quieter, more charming, and more fantastic vibe, than expected from reviews I’ve seen. Only those who expect a whole town to be kept up like an all inclusive or Disney would be disappointed. It is a charming real place. Much much nicer than Quepos. We drove there and found it very hot, industrial and busy city feel. Not a beach town. Rocks and no good tourist area.

It had a locked gate for security, and a security guard to watch the tenants' cars overnight. The beds were comfortable. Quiet atmosphere. Cindy was very personable and had great suggestions for places to eat.

The streets of Jaco are a little trashy, and the sidewalk is only complete on one side of the street walking from the Condominiums toward downtown.

El Encanto Condominiums are small but charming, nicely decorated, and very comfortable - and feature both fans and air conditioning. The staff is friendly and helpful - we asked Cindy to arrange 3 tours. The location is close to restaurants, a fruteria and a paneria, and walking distance to the main drag, more restaurants, Pali grocery store, souvenir , clothing, and art shops. The beach is a block from the main street, about 10-12 minutes for a senior citizen. My condo had a fully equipped kitchen, and we cooked a couple of dinners ourselves, as well as enjoying morning coffee & breakfast on one of the courtyard tables. The swimming pool was small but clean and very fun to float or swim around. Inside the condo did have a comfortable dining booth, as well as couches and 3 chairs in a seating area. Cable TV was in the dining area and both bedrooms. We found the beds comfortable to sleep on. The walk-in shower was nice sized; we just had to remember that the warm water was just barely turning the tap on, not all the way.

Cosy apartment with all the amenities we needed. Helpful staff, free car park and not noisy (although we traveled during the low season). Close to the town centre. Free wifi.

There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling that dripped right over the toilet. They were aware of it before we arrived, but didn't tell us about it in advance. When we asked about it, they said it was scheduled to be fixed next week and they would have to rip the whole ceiling out to do the work. We stayed for a week, and the leak got worse and worse. Every time you used the bathroom, you had to wipe the ceiling water off the toilet. And then it would drip on you while using the restroom, so I started wearing a towel as a cape every time I sat down. Not ideal. But the water was gross and I didn't want it to drip on me. Over the week, the leak grew and started dripping in more places. It got really old.

The hostess was very accommodating; I had to change my booking dates and there were no issues. Cindy and Massiel were very friendly, and responded immediately to a WhatsApp message. They came in and cleaned and were very approachable. There were plenty of towels, and the condo itself was very nice. The condo is very close to a pulperia and the Soda Garabito, both of which were excellent.

The kitchen was a bit too small and the noise from the construction on the hotel next door started at 6:30am! A bit too early. No way to sleep in at this place.

Breakfast was not included. The location was OK. The beach is a 10 minute walk away. There is a nice pool in the court yard.

The door knobs actually came off on one side and my friend got stuck in the room until we fixed it. Also, the shower required a load time for the hot water.

It was a dump. So tiny that we were falling over each other. The toilet was broken and would not flush. After a hard rain, the walls were leaking and rain came in and leaked onto our bed.

a/c made it uncomfortable to sit outside (too hot and loud but in the downstairs apartments it‘s airier, bit outdated interior but fine!, 2 TVs in the apartment but weirdly mounted so we didn’t make use of them.
