Really clean and comfortable Excellent location for the airport. Dora was so helpful arranging a taxi Tea and coffee making facilities were great along with toaster and microwave so able to make our own breakfast before an early flight Seating area outside rooms so comfortable too

Shower head needs attention

Casa Maria is a great little place and perfect for our overnight stay. Dora is very kind and allowed us an early check in. We felt safe and secure and very happy here. The room was neat and clean and we slept well

The airport is very close and you sometimes get loud planes flying over. It didn't bother us, but some might be bothered.

This was the perfect place to stay after a long day of traveling. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The facilities were very nice as well. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. They made sure me and my family had everything we needed before our flight. They arranged a delicious breakfast and an airport taxi. I honestly wished we could have stayed longer.

They only accept cash. There was no TV - this actually wasn't bad just something we aren't used to when staying somewhere. I wouldn't let this deter anyone.

Checkin was easy. The woman who helped us in was very nice and made the process simple for us. We were (perhaps unnecessarily) skeptical of the area while driving in, but the hotel is very secure.

The only nitpick was that one of the glasses in the bathroom appeared to have been dirty.

We liked the overall vibe of the hotel. The reception area was comfortable for relaxing and eating. Jovanny was such a help to us and very personable and friendly. The woman who cleaned and cooked was also friendly and helpful. The bed and room were comfortable.

Everything was great.

Super convenient stay as the property is very close to the airport. Clean and good size rooms. Secure property, you have to go through two gates to get in. Very nice lady is the owner, explained everything on arrival.

The price charged (we had to pay in cash) was not quite the same as advertised on Booking.Com. There were a lot of mosquitoes around so you will need big spray!

We used the room for an afternoon and evening before a late international flight which meant we could repack our luggage, shower, rest and eat before going to the airport. The room was small but clean and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. There was a great outside communal dining area for guests to use with a microwave, coffee machine, sink, crockery, cutlery, chairs, tables and comfy sofas. It was the perfect place for what we needed, near to the airport. Had we stayed the night, breakfast would have been included.

Dora is very reachable and quickly responds. She was so welcoming. I felt right ay home. My charger stopped working while I was there and she kindly lent me hers. Casa Maria will be my go to from now on when I'm in san José. Mucho gracias Dora. 🙏

Dora was a wonderful host. The location was perfect for us, as we needed to return our rental car early in the morning and get to the airport for our 8 AM flight. The Room was very clean and comfortable with a wonderful outside area with Couches. The Place is also decorated with paintings by Maria, the owner.

I thought breakfast was included so it threw me off that it was an extra cost. I'm sure it was me but the meal was very good!

It was a welcoming environment upon arrival and all the flowers are pretty! It's perfect for a once night stay when you have a late arrival.

Squeaky clean, comfortable and perfect for a stop over before a very early flight. Dora was very kind. The bed was so comfy and hot water in the basin! An area you can use to make food/drinks, and the local soda served hot tasty food for you.

There wasn't anything I didn't like

I loved the atmosphere of the entire private community. Everyone was friendly and the area was clean and well taken care of. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was more than sufficient.
