The breakfast was good and each day my family tried something new. The staff were all friendly and hospitalble and you cannot beat the location although after a while, walking on the boardwalk got old quick. I did love the villas/cabanas style. It was simple and all we needed since we just slept there. I was actually impressed that someone cleaned our room daily, the cabana reminded me of camping really.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe the only thing is to have better board rentals. Also, I think the communication with staff was difficult ie. upon checking out they were adding on board rentals and other fees when we had paid already. But all was resolved, everyone/staff is very kind and it worked out. We would definately come again.

The food at the hotel restaurant is so fresh and delicious. The staff is super friendly and the customer service they provide is excellent! The grounds are so peaceful and you're truly immersed in nature. Best of all, if you're a surfer, you have direct access to world-class waves.

The room was a little outdated and in need of general maintenance and better cleaning.

Loved the location, the quaintness of the room. Enjoyed watching the monkeys in the trees. Beautiful beach!

I wish the walkway to the beach wasnt so rickety.

The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious. The cabins are spacious and have all necessary amenities. And there were so many monkeys all around the property.

It was so charming. The room was plenty big and attractive. The food was great. There were monkeys in the trees. I thought the value was excellent.

The walk to the beach was disconcerting. The boardwalk was very long and full of holes. We had to watch our step closely. We thought going to the beach at night would be very dangerous.

Close to beach. Big room with large comfy bed and lots of light. Cleaned daily. Howler monkeys and iguanas in the grounds. Decent breakfast and lovely staff.

lush, full of wildlife: many birds, monkeys, iguanas, guanacaste grasshoppers. Nice cafe/restaurant on site Great walk to beach through mangroves Very friendly staff

Some nights a little noisy (cabins are semidetached and easy to hear neighbors)

Beautiful property w much wildlife including iguanas and monkeys and redwinged grasshoppers. Lovely walk thru mangroves to wide beach. Comfortable cabinas. Two units in each building and sometimes a little noisy w neighbors

Not always an easy road to get there w large potholes. They were working to improve the road surface so may be better now

The proximity of the beach and the lovely walk there. The rooms were spacious and clean. The monkeys and wildlife If you are in the area we recommend the little Soda next door to Gregory’s just a few minutes drive away. They have delicious well priced casadas. We went there every day to eat instead

Some of the restaurants food was ok but the breakfast just average. The price of the food is ridiculous so we didn’t eat or drink there much which is a shame because it would be convenient. They charge extra for Avacado with your scrambled eggs at breakfast ( not included ). $2 US for less then one eighth in a tropical country that grows them. Local beers were $6 US One of our rooms had a large lizard above the bed which left droppings in my wife’s head.

Very private very clean and very close to the beach, loved the entire energy of the place.

The cleaners went in our place when we had our ”do not disturb” mark on the door.

Wonderful and secluded. Really in the jungle.

CAUTION ! So so slippery walking from the rooms to the kitchen. We can with our 70 year old mom and she couldn’t walk to breakfast alone. It’s steep and so mossy ! They really really need to power wash the concrete. VERY DANGEROUS
